Sunday preview below

Good morning. They are likely to get out wider by race 5 with tyhe forecast rain this morning and jumpers churning up the track. We got both quaddies yesterday for the syndicate with small profits on both. We just need a couple of double figure winners to get a decent boost. No bet today.

Race 1

Confidence: 1/5

11.Cullister  is a handy hurdler and has had two runs under her belt for this with 3kgs

8.Napoleon  had a nice warm up for this at Blenheim and will be able to jump ok from the Myers stable.

Race 2

Confidence: 1/5

4.Thatz David  will lead them a merry chase and if the favourites cops any interference, he could pinch it.

2.Tallyho Twinkletoe 1st $1.80  looked very good last campaign over hurdles and gets in on a winning weight with his stablemate compressing the weights.

Race 3

Confidence: 1/5

1.The Big Opal 3rd tri $23   is a very good jumper and with 3kgs off, will be hard to beat.

2.Max 1st $4 is a powerful finisher and looks the main danger.

5.Chocolate Fish 2nd $1.50  is a good jumper and scratched from Te rRapa for this.

Race 4

Confidence: 1/5

1.Grand Rex rates on top here after weight adjustments in the Formpro Ratings and will be improved by a good 3rd fresh up. RP $5

7.Bastille Babe looks the main danger.

Race 5

Confidence: 2/5

6.Magico  will be fitter after a game second. Drawn wide but Lisa Allpress will be doing her best to negate that and wide draw may be a plus by this time. RP $2.60, $2.70 FF

1.Nebraska  will be the main danger after a game 2nd last start.

Race 6

Confidence: 2/5

2.All In Mana was ridden off the pace last start and it almost came off. Drawn wide and will be ridden the same way. Looks to be enough tempo here for him to get up. Wide draws likely to be a plus too as they will be getting out wide to win. His action says he should be ok on a slow to heavy track. RP $3.80

17.Brother One nearly always goes well here and a slow to heavy track suits.

3.Hundyamonth ran home well last start when ridden quieter. Drawn wide which should be a plus.

1.Choice Attitude 1st $6  back to 1200m looks ideal.

11.Double Down  is a nice horse and ran a nice 2nd at the trials.

Race 7

Confidence:  2/5

9.Hinepara did very well on debut when wide all the way and ran home well with a low head and ideal action for a wet track. 1360m will suit also. RP $3.40

12.Albatross Point  will go forward as in her trial and her action suggests she will handle a wet track ok.

3.Thutmosis 2nd $2.60   good 3rd here and a wet track should be ok.

Race 8

Confidence: 2/5

2.Whatsup 1st $5.50 strong finishing third in slower ground last start beating Diamond Dancer 4th just insid it who won next up. He looks a nice galloper for wet tracks and is out of an Al Akbar mare so will relish the ground. Drawn out which will be a plus by this time of day. Jonathan Parkes also made him his best ride for the weekend. RP $3.20, $5.50 FF

1.Prince Oberyn nice third last start and Lisa sticks with him.

6.Tipla  has been backed in from $23 into $10 FF No trials form

4.Proletariat  looked good winning his trial travelling well all the way on the heavy track and striding away with an ideal heavy track action. Ready to win but negative is the inside draw.

7.Reliably Perky racing well without winning but drawn out which will be the right place to be.

Race 9

Confidence: 2/5

5.Razor’s Edge 2nd $2.50  has the second best Formpro Rating on a heavy track just behind Hutch. He has been freshened up and drawn midfield, so if Tim can get him out wider in the better going, he is going to be the one to keep out with his 2kgs off. RP $4.70, $9 Ff

7.Kingsgrave  in the Myers stable now and will relish a heavy track more than most. Gets 2kgs off and drawn wide.

11.Makamojito  has won here and ran a good race in WFA company last start. Wide draw a plus.

1.Hutch drops back to R65 class and has the best rating on a heavy track. Gets 3kgs off but will need a good ride from the inside draw as they are likely to be hunting wide to win.
