Update: No quaddie for the syndicate today

Good morning,

There look to be a few favourites winning today and a couple that definitely look under value. The full preview is below and there may be a quaddie bet in Australia for the quaddie syndicate which I will post by 4.10 p.m.

Good luck,

Bet of the Day Race 8 10.Boundtobehonoured $3.20 FF Missed no chance after caught 3 wide in the slow lane

Value bet of the Day Race 2 6.Delegate currently $3.60 but could pay more later 2nd had his chance.

Best Multi Race 8 10.Boundtobehonoured $3.20 FF and Race 9 3.The Chaser $2.60 Both mapped to be caught in the slower lane

Race 1

Confidence: 2/5

6.Ripnroll 3rd $1.40  looked to have a bit to offer on debut when held up in the straight. He relaxed well and with the pace on here well out, he can work into it nicely and be hard to beat. RP $3.50 $4.80 Ff

1.Cyber Attack 1st $3.40  looked stronger winning his trial coming from last.  Looks ready fresh up from the Pike stable.

Race 2

Confidence: 2/5

6.Delegate was beaten by Roger last start but this time Kate will be able to settle closer and Roger from the wider draw this time, will settle back behind Delegate. Gets in on a better weight advantage over him as well and can beat the rest. RP $2.80

3.Battle Royal back on a better surface will be harder to beat.

2.Roger That 1st $2.40 held on well here last start but second up with a bigger weight, he may find one or two a bit tough to beat.

Race 3

Confidence: 1/5 in an open race.

2.Soldier Field was galloping strongly when brought down last start. Drawn wide so will need luck though. RP $6

3.Mishka will appreciate the extra distance.

9.Raqisa battled well over ground for the first time this campaign. Fitter now.

Race 4

Confidence: 2/5

1.Malambo looks well placed here despite the topweight with 1kg off. She has rated strongly in better fields. Drawn wide but with a good pace likely, and if the inside is not the fast lane, she can get back and work into it and beat these. RP $3.00

4.Seduttore is a nice horse ready to fire fresh up.

2.Aligns With Me  won well here and trialled well. Drawn the ace.

Race 5

Confidence: 2/5

1.Owen Patrick  ran well in strong 3yo races last campaign. Went to the line wanting to go faster in his recent trial. Nice looking horse and despite wide draw, can win this. RP $2.50 No chance once caught in the slower outer ground.

13.Fine Bouquet 1st $8  good second on debut and hampered here last start. 1400m suits.

Race 6

Confidence: 2/5

2.Seirios 1st $2.20 with a smart ride angling in for the fast lane.  bounded home with a good wet track action fresh up and was outfinished by a handy horse that got the ideal run. 1400m suit and so does the slow track. RP $3.20

6.Guillocharm ran on well last start here and 1400m on a similar surface will suit.

3.Reliable Lad 3rd to a good horse last start. If inside is off is in this.

Race 7

Confidence: 2/5

1.Verbalizer 1st after sticking to the inside fast lane has done well in his last two starts and 1580m will suit ideally from the good draw against a weak field.

10.McCartney  looks the obvious danger after two strong runs. It will remain a mystery how Chris Johnson was not queried about his ride in that last race at Trentham. I doubt if you will see him ridden with the same way here. I’d prefer a true Dead track as his action suggests a slow to heavy won’t suit his action

Race 8

Confidence: 2/5

10.Boundtobehonoured  looked impressive leading in her trial and relishing her work on the turn, then strode away with an ideal action for a slow track. Has the early speed and rider ( Vinnie Colgan)  to overcome the draw and gets a nice bonus if she wins this from the strong Pike stable. RP $2.80

3.Savette 1st $5 and great value after staying in the fast lane looked good almost winning on debut. Gets back but if they go crazy up front she could swamp them.

Race 9

Confidence: 2/5

3.The Chaser just keeps on winning and doing it impressively in good speed ratings. Maps to be caught wide on the pace again, but can still win, especially if the inside is off, which it could well be. RP $3.50

1.Solmization  ran a close 4th in this race fresh up last year.

10.Air Centre won fresh up last campaign and ran third in a recent trial behind horses that would start hot favourites in this, Ugo Foscolo and prom Queen.

4.Ricky Baker  looked good winning his first two races and is ready to fire again.
