No quaddie bet in New Zealand but check back by 4.15 in case we have one at Doomben

Saturday preview

There is plenty of rain forecast throughout the day so it is very likely to get to heavy and favour wider runners by the last few races. I will post any quaddie bets for the syndicate by by 2.15 p.m. for New Zealand and 4.50 p.m. for Australia.

Good luck,

Neil

Bet of the Day Rotorua Race 2 6.Grand Rio $3.20 FF

Value bet of the day Rotorua Race 7 5. Deals In Heels $5.50 FF Friday now $4.80 Ff still value if they are getting wide. 2nd

Speed Map Special Rotorua Race 8 1. Soroc $6.50 FF 1st $6.50

Sneaky of the day Rotorua Race 5 5.Gentil Tonton $18 and $5 Friday now $14 Ff

Heads Up below: Win a free month subscription to the Formpro Ratings ( Closes Monday night )  plus we preview the two big races at Rotorua

Race 1

Confidence: 2/5

1.Karisto 1st $1.80  led all the way last start and can only improve off that. Drawn wide but with a good trip is the one to beat. RP $2.90, $2.30 FF

Dangers:

5.White Shield  looked good on debut and 1400m will suit.

7.Inca Warrior  is a definite improver.

Race 2

Confidence: 2/5

6.Grand Rio ran a strong second fresh up and has won second and third up. Handles any ground and from the draw, should get an ideal run. Trainer said if it rains it will suit him better than Ambitious Winner. RP $3. $3.20 Ff

Dangers:

1.Admiral 1st $5 ran a strong fourth in a stronger field last start and with an uncontested lead likely, could pinch it.

9.Ambitious Warrior is tough and showed that last start. Best ridden in behind and should be able to get that run here.

4.Leeds is ready to fire now after two runs, especially if the rain comes.

Race 3

Confidence: 1/5 in an open race.

2.Ottavio goes well here and will be fitter after two runs back. Any rain helps. RP $5, $6.50 FF

Dangers:

1.Cossastock raced well in Australia and won a recent trial well.

15.Raspberry Sweet has the ability to go well fresh.

6.Wonder Woman with the right run, which he is likely to get from an inform Shafiq Rusof, could do it.

Race 4

Confidence: 1/5

8.On Parole drops in class and if the track gets to a heavy one, she can upset. RP $6 on a heavy track.

Dangers:

6.Valante  stuck on well on a heavy track last start and will be on the pace.

10.Raise The Phantom did well in an R75 race last start and drops in class.

13.Unveiling closed hard last start and a heavy track will suit ideally.

Race 5

The speed maps shows Joe Cargo and China Star should share the pace with maybe Youwantmore sliding over from wide out early on. A moderate to even tempo likely. The bias will depend on how much rain they get by this time and what riders decide is the best part.

Confidence: 1/5

5.Gentil Tonton won the Taumaranui Gold Cup here last year on a heavy track with 53 kgs and has the best Formpro Rating on a heavy track in the last year. He has had a few runs in now and was held up when looking to wind up last start at Te rapa. With the rain forecast, that will help his chances, plus he will get back and be able to get to the best part wider if that is the case by this time of day which is likely. RP $7 on a slow to heavy outside biased track. $18 and $5.20 FF currently.

Dangers:

8.Youwantmore ran a strong fourth last start at Te Rapa at WFA rating an FR ( Formpro Rating) of 113. She drops to 55kgs here and needs to rate 110 to win this. With the rain forecast, that will only increase her chances and she is peaking third up. She has the tactical speed to get handy off the rail and depending on where the best strip is, Andrew Calder can get her home. RP $4 based on a slow to heavy track.

7.Richie McHorse won really well last start at Hastings on a slow 7 track when he got back and swooped wider- ideal style for here.  He is best on nothing worse than a Slow 7 and if that is the case, can win again.

2.Highlad  1st $7 won too well last week to leave out despite the 60kgs.

Race 6

Confidence: 1/5

4.Trueman looked in need of the run fresh up and raced that way. But he won n R75 1400m race here on a heavy track third up and is a strong galloper on wet tracks. Drawn wide enough if inside is stuffed. RP $5, $8 FF

Dangers:

5.Manhattan Flame did well fresh up and may have been flat second up. Good horse and ready now.

15.Blackjack Man won well last start and goes well on a heavy track here. Drawn wide which will be a plus.

Race 7

The speed map shows plenty of early speed all over the field early on. With the rain forecast, it is very likely to favour swoopers down the outer.

Confidence: 3/5

5.Deals In Heels ran home strongly in both of her runs this campaign. The last on a track that allowed the runners on better ground to get a break on her, but she still ran home in the fastest last 600 metres. She is a very good mare and won like a good horse at Hastings over 1300m in 1.21 for the 1300m on a slow 9 track. Her debut was a win here on a heavy 11 track. She maps to get back here on the outer of others, which will be the ideal place to be. From there, the way the Baker/Forsman team are improving horses from run to run, she can get to the outside of these on the bend and power home down the outside. RP $3.60, Opened $7.50, now $5.50 Ff

Dangers:

2.Underthemoonlight ran third in this last year and always goes well here.

12.Rayas won strongly at Trentham and a slow to heavy track from a wide draw with Dylan Turner and Shane Brown both on fire, will suit.

1.Miss Wilson  in great form but the slower the track, the worse her chances from the inside draw especially.

Race 8

Confidence: 2/5

1.Soroc  1st $6.50 has drawn wide which will be a positive by this time of day. He handles a heavy track well and is very fit. Looks the one to beat. RP $4.00, $6.50 FF

Dangers:

3.Pailsey Park  looked good on debut. Drawn in close which could be a negative.

14.Kool Connection is better than her last ran when she could not breath properly. Had the operation since and good enough to get into it even from the inside draw.

6.Quantum no luck fresh up when held up. Drawn wide and fitter now.

Taranaki

Race 1

Confidence: 1/5

9.Not Usual Jane 3rd $1.50  game second last start and third up and fit from the ace. RP $4

Dangers:

8.London Express 1st $5 Tri $62  two good thirds and fitter now with 4kgs off.

10.Tutta Classe 2nd $1.70  just beaten last start but wide draw no help.

Race 2

Confidence: 1/5

1.Sure He Can has run strong races against better fields. Won trial well and ready to fire fresh. RP $4

Dangers:

7.Kaliperhree good runs and likely to be fit from jumpouts.

9.Goodnight Irene gets 4kgs off and showed enough to say she can be in this.

Race 3

Confidence: 0.01/5 in a real raffle race

9.Magicella 1st $10  good second to Casaquinman last start and he won well next up. Wide draw could be negated with a quick beginning. RP $6

Dangers:

3.Field Of Fire  will be ready to fire fresh.

2.Simply Impeccable won well last start and gets 4kgs off this time.

Race 4

Confidence: 1/5

7.Replica 1st $2.80  ran home well last start and fitter from the Baker/Forsman stable. RP $4

Dangers:

6.Our Charli’s Angel solid second last start and gets 4kgs off.

10.Blue Rata Ana drawn to get a good run and ready now.

Race 5

Confidence: 1/5 in an open race

3.Jessiegee 3rd  will be improved by that fresh run. A wetter track will suit ideally and she gets 3kgs off. RP $4.80, $8.50 Ff

Dangers:

9.Hard To be Humble 2nd is a nice horse and will be ready to go on a suitable heavy track.

10.Princess Dillon 1st $4.50 tri $315  has won on a slow track here over 2000m. Tough 4th on debut after a tough run. Lisa Allpress jumps on fresh up.

Race 6

Confidence: 2/5

9.Kitaya won well last start on a heavy track and gets in on a winning weight. RP $4, $6.50 FF

Dangers:

3.Salamanca fitter and will relish a wet track with 3kgs off.

7.Lucyinrio back to 1200m on a heavy track will suit.

4.Art Deco 1st $2.60 loves a wet track here and gets 4kgs off with Wiremu Pinn having his first ride. Money has come for her too.

Race 7

Confidence: 1/5 in an open race

5.Doiknowyou won second up last campaign over 1600m and will improved by that fresh up run. Heavy track ideal. RP $5, $6

Dangers:

8.Mangaroa Flo Jo  goes well here ( 4 wins) and a wet track will suit.

10.In A Minute  goes well fresh and nice run in a recent trial.

1.Overtheriver 1st $6.30 is racing in career best form and if the inside is ok, could do it again.

Race 8

Confidence: 1/5

14.Wazuzu  looks ready to go close after a battling fifth fresh up but in a stronger field. has won second up and on a heavy track. Gets 2kgs back in class. RP $5, $8.80 FF

Dangers:

1.Animator 1st $13 Quad $1933 hung last start and was a tricky ride. One cup blinkers go on and he is good enough to win if that does the trick.

6.Abacus  tough win last start and drawn well.

9.Regal Winks may appreciate the extra ground now.
