Tuesday update

Good morning,

Tuesday is a day I tend to look forward to as it is my day off. When you watch every race replay from the previous week about twenty times doing the reviews and sectionals, it is nice to look at something else for a change, like a good movie or a walk along the beach with the hairy legs, my dog. I did mention I may have a bet for the quaddie syndicate on the $20k Terminating Pick 6 today but with a few of the legs likely to be taken out by favoured runners, it is very likely to be struck by many units so there is no point in having a bet- I would have if it was at Avondale tomorrow?

We have $5458 in the Quaddie syndicate after getting half of  the Morphetville one on Saturday. I will likely have a couple more quaddies before the end of May and there is very likely to be a $50k or $100 Terminating Pick 6 on Jewels Day, plus a couple of Bonus quaddies, so we will probably finish on that meeting.

With the wet tracks upon us now, I’ll be looking to go to the Australian gallops and the NZ greyhound meetings for the Good confidence bets. I’ll still be previewing NZ meetings in full. On Sunday at Manukau, one form factor selected 9 of the thirteen winners – the dog mapped to lead! Those speed maps are free on the TAB App now. I think that was a record for the speed maps. What’s more, if you had the time to spend on seeing which of those winners were likely not to get hampered by other dogs early, you would have increased your profits significantly.

I know many subscribers, including myself, enjoy studying the dog form this time of year, because you don’t have to look for any track bias, whether or not is likely to handle the dozen or so different wet track conditions or what weight it will be carrying. The odds for the dogs aren’t posted till the morning of the races for nearly all meetings, so I’ll post those dog selections by noon for day meetings. I’ll look for one, two or three logical winners, regardless of the price for multi bettors, and one or two value bets where I feel the favourite can get beaten.

For new subscribers, I normally post the NZ gallops selections by 8.45 the day of the races and I’ll include in the post when I’ll post the dog and Australian selections.
