Thursday preview and whip rule response

Good morning,

Thursday preview here

I’ve been through the Wanganui fields and keeping in mind there have been around 120 horses go round in the recent invisible Levin jumpouts, plus a track that is very likely to be biased towards the outer at some stage, but we don’t know when on the heavy track, I can only find one horse to select with good confidence. . I have also included the Formpro Rated best runners on a heavy track in the last quaddie.

That allowed me to spend a fair bit of time going through the Addington harness fields tonight as well and I’ve narrowed it down to one very good bet.

I spoke to Mike Godber about the lack of grounds connections can protest on if beaten by a horse that has gained an advantage breaking the whip rule. He replied that “A horse can be disqualified but that is very unlikely to happen and we are reviewing this situation on a regular basis.”

That is good because it going to happen in a big race over the next few months so it would be better to be pro-active and give the JCA discretion rather than be re-activechange the rules after it happens again.

You can login with username Formpro and the current and the new password can be heard by calling 0900 36 76 7  ( 0900 FORMPRO )  for a cost of $10 which will last till next Thursday night, June 21st. Or you can subscribe here with Credit Card or direct banking into ANZ 01-0677-0114026-00
