No selections for Sunday
Dez was the highlight of the day with a really tough win. The $6FF on offer on Friday proved to be great value as he was thumped into $4 FF late. So thanks to Darryl Bradley for a top ride and he goes to the top of the early Xmas card list.
The Sectional Specials got into a bad habit of running second in Australia when things just didn’t go their way until Ben Allen on Mount Kilcoy gave him the right run and got onto the back of the right horse and won easily. Many riders get onto the back of the wrong horse but Ben obviously did his homework on this occasion and receives this week’s Gold Star sticker.
I only spent $519 of our bank on the Terminating Pick 6 yesterday for the syndicate. But we were out after the fifth leg was won by a last start maiden winner on a slog in the bog. I could have spent the lot on either of the first two Termunating Pick 6s but neither looked like they would be struck by one single 10% ticket. We still have $4742 of our bank left here
It wasn’t surprising that the $100k pool in the Terminating Pick 6 wasn’t filled yesterday. If you are going to have them on mainly small fields where the favourites look good chances, then punters aren’t going to have a go at trying to strike the lot by themselves. There should be flexibility on which races they can be run on which I’m sure they can do as they can do them on two meetings for the Turbo Terminating Pick 6s.
Just a reminder that the Greyhounds Ratings are free tomorrow.
