Good morning,
No Quality bets at Hastings today so I have previewed the last quaddie.
Race 5
8.Rose Bowl 1st $2.90 in her recent trial led and was green and ran wide on the turn but soon kicked away. Good third on debut and drawn the inside with J Parkes up.
11.Tough Kid two solid runs. Fitter now and drawn to stalk the favourite.
16.Ninkasi looked good in his last trial getting back but was blocked on the turn full of running and once out got home well. Drawn to get the last go the top two.
6.Tonadillas won her trial coming well from just off the pace. Needs a good ride from the wide barrier.
Race 6
6.Merlini 1st $3.40 in his recent trial jumped well and trailed but most importantly settled well. From there he wasn’t asked for much and ran a nice second. Drawn to get all favours.
11.Awesome Al reeled of some powerful fast sectionals last campaign. If they go evenly or harder, can win fresh up.
10.Divine Power goes well fresh and has won two trials. Drawn well.
5.Ruby Bloom has won twice fresh up including at this meeting last year. Drawn the inside with 4kgs off.
1.Don’tblamethemusic drawn out with good speed inside him. With the inexperienced apprentice, he is beatable.
Race 7
4.O’Hara 1st $2.40 ran a game second, second up. Good races in good times last campaign. Drawn to get all favours with Sam Collett up.
1.Cyclops game 4th last start off a tough run. May be looking for 2000m now but with a good run and decent tempo, could do it.
7.Flourishing is fitter now and maps to get a soft lead and can win if she gets that.
10.Matauri nice run last start and fitter. Drawn to get 3 back inner and be right in it now.
Race 8
8.Miss Labasa 1st $2.20looked good winning on debut and is a big striding filly still a bit green. Drawn the inside so will need to begin well as being 3 back on the rail won’t be comfortable for her so no anchor.
6.Sacred Siren was a bit stiff last start. Fitter now and drawn well with 2kgs off.
4.Terra Firma won well fresh and well bred. 1600m will suit.
1.Dashper led all the way last start and maps to do the same.
Suggested quaddie for $16 for 5% is below: Paid a huge $77 for a massive $3.80 return!
