Waverley
We have a Good 2 track with a little rain forecast this afternoon which is not good. No Quality bets today.
Bet of the day Race 7 2.Portland Jimmy $2.10 FF It pays to be a twitter member. About 2 minutes before the race I Tweeted out this:
‘Is hotty Portland Jimmy too fresh for 1400m? With a decent tempo likely Rockoneve could swamp them late.’
PJ was sweating up before the race and was just too fresh and commentator T lee described that too. So it was no surprise to see him run out of gas late and see Rockoneve $5 swamp him. My Twitter handle is @formpro
Value bet of the day Race 1 4.Kirkenes $4.50 Ff
Suggested quaddie for $10 for 13%
Leg 1: | 4. La Bella Rosa 5. Ladynadel |
Leg 2: | 1. Overtheriver 3. Nymph Monte 6. Glory Days 7. Balham |
Leg 3: | 7. Vinabeel 12. Not So Sure 13. Youllbefine |
Leg 4: | 2. Portland Jimmy 7. Sainted Pearl 9. Rockoneve |
Race 1
4.Kirkenes last start was unlucky when held up till about 200m out and found the line full of running. Rates well and has run the times to say he can win this.
6.Charlie Rose will be improved by that first go over ground.
3.All In Stitches fitter and a better track suits.
Race 2
8.Our Matriarch racing well and drawn to do no extra.
9.The last Samurai fitter after strong second last start.
10.Black Anasta with 3kgs off and a good draw sure helps.
Race 3
Any one of 1-2-3-10 and 9 for a roughie can win this.
Race 4
4.La Bella Rosa ran a nice trial getting out late and motoring home. Goes well fresh and can run time. Maps to be 1×1 behind an even speed and get over them.
5.Ladynadel drawn to be the one LBR has run down
Race 5
7.Balham won this race last year and after a strong third last start in a strong field, he looks set to do it again on a similar surface.
1.Overtheriver can run time over middle distances and gets 4kgs off.
6.Glory Days won well last start. She has most of her wins on Dead or worse tracks and her first go past 2200m means $2.80 is too short.
3.Nymph Monte was beaten by Belham last start. Gets 3kgs off this time but best form on off tracks.
Race 6
7.Vinabeel fought hard behind a good horse last start. If improved is the one to beat.
12.Not So Sure won her trial well and ran on late on debut.
13.You’ll Be Fine ready to fire on debut from a good draw.
Race 7
2.Portland Jimmy is a nice horse and drawn to get every chance. A Good track with his action should be ok.
7.Sainted Pearl drawn to lead and gets 4kgs off favourite. Can win if PJ does things wrong.
9.Rock On Eve with a cosy run likely, and if they go too hard, could do it.
In case you see this early,
