Wednesday preview posted

Good morning,

We have a Dead to slow track to do the form on at Pukekohe and the rail is out 3m- selections here. The last meeting here about 11 days ago on a similar surface, when the rail was true, they got put to the centre of the track in the last few races, so we can expect the same again today. No Quality bets today. As mentioned before, with a Dead to Slow track with showers about, it can just be good enough that horses that have performed best on Dead or better tracks, could get away with it, especially if they can find the fast lanes, and the horses that have their best form on heavy tracks, may just find it slow enough for them to win. It is hard enough to do the form without the emphasis being on the track conditions, but when you strike a slow track, it does make it that much harder. Anyway, it is what it is. Maybe the suggested quaddies and trifectas etc, could be the way to go.

If you want the last 800, 600, 400 and 200m from Ellerslie last Saturday, you can see them for free here. It is interesting to see that Stratocaster easily ran the fastest of those sectionals all day, which he has done before. There’s a really good race for him over the next few weeks.
