Update:

Just the one greyhound selection:

Race 4  2.21 p.m.

Confidence: 3/5

3.Little Moo finished over race rival It’s a Stroll here last week and has 3 of the 5 best closing sectionals over 520m here. With the fastest opening sectionals,  she maps to either lead or sit outside It’s a stroll here and looks hard to beat. $2.20, $3.70 FF

Gisborne

Good morning,

Some handy fields today. I’ll update by noon with some greyhound selections.

Bet of the day Race 2 11.Simogramor $1.85 FF

Value bet of the day Race 3 4.Garados $6.50 Ff

Race 1

11.Scomadi nicely bred and will appreciate the extra ground now.

9.Mistumut  rates well and drawn to get all favours.

1.Mondorani two solid placings.

Race 2

Confidence: 3/5

11.Simogramor 2nd best bred horse here today and gets 4kgs off from a  good draw. Looks hard to beat. Bolted in at her trial leading all the way with the same rider. RP $2, $1.85

1.Rock Idol looks the obvious danger.

Race 3

The speed map shows plenty of speed here which will suit a strong closer

Confidence: 3/5

4.Garados is a nice horse that has a powerful last 600 and 200m. He has rin the fastest last 600m all day on two occasions. So the strong tempo here is ideal for him. He will get back but the gaps should open in time for him to get up. RP $3.50, $6.50 Ff

Dangers:

10.McEdith got all favours at Trentham and won well. This is harder and a good tempo may find her out.

Race 4

Confidence: 2/5

10.Waiwetu Lass  two strong seconds and from the Pike stable, will be primed to break out of maidens.

6.Duke Of Plumpton good 2nd but wide draw won’t help.

Race 5 first leg of the quaddie

The speed map shows Commander and Cobochon out wide looking to slide over  to share the lead with Madam Makfi trailing and an even tempo likely.

4.Cabochon two starts back at Stratford won in good time for 160mm 1.35.4, fsdeter than anything in this field. The last start drew well but others began better and she trailed an even tempo but fought very well right to the line. She relaxes well and even though drawn wide, has plenty of back straight to slide over 2nd outer and hopefully control the tempo outside the leader. She is looks better left handed too so with Sam Collett up, looks the obvious one. RP $2.80, $3 FF

Dangers:

6.Madam Makfi rated very strongly last start when leading and being swamped in a stronger field. Drawn to get all favours.

2.Full Of Grace third up in a weaker field from the Richards stable.

7.Powerball goes well and has rated strongly over this distance. Fair run in a fast run sprint last start. Gets 2kgs off and can upset.

Race 6

The speed maps shows Valante and Sanasar going forward and a moderate tempo likely.

Confidence: 2/5

7.Pasabache had me stumped last start. She beat some good mares and did it well. She maps to get a good run again here and looks the one to beat again.

Dangers:

5.Wide Awake is a nice horse and gets 4kgs off fresh up after a couple of trials.

8.Cutting Up Rough  gets 3kgs off and goes well here.

10.Valante  with a soft lead could hold on.

Race 7

Confidence: 2/5

10.Allaccatio  clearly rates on top here. gets back though so needs luck, but should win with any decent amount of it. RP $4

Dangers:

5.Hey happy  is the obvious danger after a strong second on debut.

Race 8

The speed map shows not a lot of speed.

5.Troup Road  could upset here. He has won an R75 race at hastings over 2100m leading all the way. He needed that last run and drops back in class with 4kgs off. May get a soft lead and be hard to run down with that light weight. RP $5, $8.50 in from $11

Dangers:

2.Katiem Marie rates clearly on top here and if there was an even tempo likely, she would be clearly on top. But she will get back and withat slow tempo likely, is no anchor.

3.Surrey wont get a better chance to get back into winning form.

7.Iffrajinator drops back in class and will be on the pace.
