Wednesday preview below

Update: No further bets. Save your serious money for some better placed bets later in the week and don’t get sucked into double figure wishful thinking runners spruiked that you know long term you will go broke on. My job is to make you money long term, not send you broke. Stick to the Quality bets, which have made a very good profit long term and your own well thought out selections, and you will enjoy it.

Te Rapa

Good morning,

The bookies will be salivating with big open fields today. It is definitely advantage to them and no Quality bets today. I’ve previewed the late quaddie and a best bet and value bet. I’ll post an update by noon.

Bet of the Day Race 9 1.Caribbean Rose $3.20 FF

Value bet of the day Race 4 8.Scaglioni $6.50 FF

Suggested late quaddie for $27 for 100%

R7   2613
R8   149
R9    1
R10   1312

Race 4

Confidence:2/5

8.Scaglioni has been racing in stronger R65 fields and has had to work too hard in the first half of the race over middle distances and has still done well. Back to 1600m in a weaker R65 field suits. RP $5, $7.50 FF

Race 7

Confidence:1/5

2.Soaring Wyvern 1st $5  led and was beaten by the smart William Scott fresh up. Got back second up and ran on ok. Better suited here. RP $4.50

Dangers:

13.Spirit of Galway will be improved by that tidy 3rd fresh up and gets 5kgs off.

6.Zamax well bred and shown enough at trials to include.

Race 8

Confidence:2/5

1.Ata Rangi

1st $2 Strong 2nd on debut. Drawn wide so needs luck but looks a handy horse. RP $3.80

Dangers:

4.The Peace Train took the eye when running on late on debut. 1400 suits.

9.Chatelaine ran on well second up. Fitter and the extra ground suits.

Race 9

Confidence:2/5

1.Caribbean Rose ran a game second last start when trying hard with a good wet track action against a horse that was in the better ground with a better action for that better ground and she ran her best race here three starts back. Looks better this way round and right at her peak now from a good draw. RP $2.70

Dangers:

5.Just Treasure 1st $8  finished hard last start and looks the main danger.

4.Soda from the good draw gets her chance.

Race 10

Confidence:2/5

1.Codecracker 1st $3 treble $48 quaddie $368   two strong runs this campaign and ready now over 1400m. RP $4

Dangers:

12.Imperious  is a quick improver and is a nice horse with Opie up.

3.Rage In The Castle  won well fresh up. This is harder but looks a handy horse.
