Race 4

Confidence: 3/5

1.King Farouk put in a big run on debut and went too fast in front second up. Drawn ideally out wide here where he can get to the better ground and with a patient ride, should be a class or two above these. Action suits a bog. RP $1.70, $1.80 FF

Race 5

Confidence:1/5

3.Outa Cash is ready to go after a good trial 3rd with an ideal action to handle a heavy track. RP $4

Dangers:

2.He’s Done A Runner  looked good winning his trial wide on the pace on a heavy track. Ready to fire on debut.

6.Eyes On Jeu  should handle it better than most.

5.La Turque 1st $5 has done enough to say she is worth including. Inside draw no help though.

10.Maggie Tee will be ready to fire fresh up. fair run on debut and gets 2kgs off.

Race 6

Confidence: 2/5

2.Divine Power did well last start when handy and got shuffled back to 3rd last, then came through in the slower inner ground for third. She gets a 4kg swing on Play The Field this time and has drawn out wider which will be an advantage with rain forecast so should have Play the Field covered on an equal footing this time. RP $4.50

Dangers:

7.Play The Field 1st $5 was drawing away late at Otaki with a weight advantage. Doesn’t get that this time but J Parkes can make up for that. Drawn to be in the better lanes.

3.Lincoln’s Gal  did well last start when 2nd on a good pace and fought back well to hold second. Best form on better tracks but action says she could handle a bog. Very fit now but drawn to find it hard to get out wider if that is the place to be.

6.Pincanto  battled on well after leading over 1400m last start. Better suited to 1200m and gets 1kg off.

14.That’s Funny closed off hard late last start and won this race last year. Gets in on a winning weight but the negative is the inside draw where she will get back and may struggle to get out wider in to the better ground? She did win this race from barrier 2 though.

Race 7

Confidence:2/5

1.Manolo  1st $4  fresh up kept on strongly in the slower ground with the first two out wider in the better ground. He as an ideal action for a bog and can only be fitter for that run. Strong horse ideally placed in a weak midweek maiden. RP $2.70, $3.40 FF

Race 8

Confidence: 1/5

6.Wafer  has rated strongly on wet tracks and was caught in the slower inner ground here last start. Fitter  now and will find these easier. Drawn out with Lisa Allpress up, so looks well placed to strike third up out wide. RP $4, $8 FF

Dangers:

3.Tiro  freshened up and drawn to get the last crack at Wafer.

13.Allure drops back in class and gets 4ks off. Rates well on a heavy track but inside draw no help.
