Update: 11.45 a.m.

No further bets.

Update: 9.15 a.m. Big Time Lebron ( $2 ) is also a Quality bet. 1st A loss of 1.3 units on the day. Next update by noon.

Good  morning,

I’ve been through the Matamata fields and there is just no value there on the heavy track so pass. But there is at the Whanganui Greyhounds with Sahara Pippa and she is a Quality bget but save on the 1. I’ll post an update at 9.15 a.m. and noon.

Good luck,

Neil

Whanganui Greyhounds Meeting 3

Race 7 1.49 p.m.

Confidence: 3/5 and is a Quality bet.

8.Sahara Pippa 3rd  is perfectly drawn here in box 8. She always veers left out of the boxes and then works her way closer to the rail. The 6 and 7 dogs veer left  and the 9 dog in box 2 tends to veer out, which is likely to cause carnage for dogs in between. She has the best closing sectionals here and has done the times to say she can beat these. She tends to slacken off a bit down the back straight but has better closing sectionals then most of these including the favourite, 4.  The only danger is 1.Big Time Kobe who was slow out from box 1 on Monday and just seem to go round with not a lot of interest once he could not see the lure. But with the 2 dog veering out, if he does manage to jump on terms, he is going to get a clear crack into the first bend, and has done the times to say he is the main danger to Pippa. So I suggest backing Sahara Pippa at $4.20 ( RP $2.20 )  FF and saving on 1.Big Time Kobe at $3.60 FF. The Value Staking plan says 3.8 units on Pippa at $4.20 to return 15.96 units  and 1.5 units on 1.Big Time Kobe  2nd  at $3.60 to return 5.4 units to cover the total outlay of 5.3 units.

Whanganui greyhounds Meeting 9

Race 9 5.51 p.m.

Confidence: 4/5 and is a Quality bet

8.Big Time Lebron 1st $1.70 looks ideally placed from box 8 here. he takes a few strides to get going and no dogs inside him are going to push him wider. And he has a real strong burst once balanced up from near the end of the back straight to around to the final bend, so should have no trouble powering to the lead with the lack of early speed from any of these. He has the best opening and closing sectionals and best time. RP $1.50, $2.00 FF and is a Quality bet. Value Staking Plan says 4 units a win at $2 FF
