Update: No further bets. ( No Quality bets today )

Good morning,

No Quality bets so far today. The two below look well placed to win but are just not just any value. But there may be one in the update by 11 a.m. this morning.

Good luck,

Neil

Race 5

Confidence: 3/5

5.Showmeware 2nd  looked good winning at Whanganui and the figures backed it up. It was faster time than the R72 race run just after it at similar tempo, and she was strong to the line over 1200m. Then last start, she got back off an even tempo, took a while to get balanced, looked around a bit even with side winkers on, then once balanced up, drove home the best of anything late out wide. Lisa Allpress would have no doubt said to the trainer she needs blinkers now, so they have gone on. The step to 1400m looks ideal fourth up and there looks to be an even tempo, which will give Lisa hopefully, the chance to find the best part of the track, wherever that may be, and get over these. Being a half sister to the 6 win Ambitious Winner so she has the blood to win a few more too. RP $2.90, $3.20 FF

Race 6

Confidence:3/5

8.Bae Corp 1st $2.50  ran a top 2nd last start in a harder field of race winners. Her adjusted time would have placed her third in the Open handicap off a similar tempo!  Magdala, the winner, franked that with a strong placing at Te Rapa on Saturday. So back in a midweek maiden field, with 4kgs off again, she has to be hard to beat. The negative is she has drawn 9 and with the inexperienced rider up, where they map to be midfield or worse off an even tempo, she will have to make some good quick decisions to get home in front of as couple of handy ones like Monkey Town and Lincoln Town who will be on the pace. She does rate 6 lengths clear of these though after weight adjustments! RP $2.60, $2.80 FF
