With 9mm of rain forecast at Riccarton today it should loosen it up but make it a real test of stamina in the Grand National, which has a $20k bonus.
I just can’t select anything with any confidence in New Zealand. There is one Quality bet on a Good track in Australia. We picked up 20.4 units off Big Time Marlissa on Wednesday for a 14.4 unit profit as the only Quality bet so far this week, so I’m not going to make something a Quality bet, just for the sake of having a bet and wasting hard earned profits. The Quality bets, which started 9 months ago have made a very healthy profit and I fully intend to keep that trend. Some subscribers only back those Quality bets. Plus, They are my only serious as well, so I have got to have that good confidence and at value prices, to make it work long term. We are back into the better races and horses next week, so if we can just keep the handbrake on for a little longer, there will be plenty of opportunities to find those value bets. I’ll post an update by noon with any other bets.
