Thursday September 12 selections below

Good morning,

There are two Quality bets today, both at the Manukau Greyhounds this evening.

Good luck,

Neil

Manukau dogs

Race 2 4.49 p.m.

Confidence: 3/5

2.Gain Capital 4th after missing the jump just enough to get squeezed up into the first bend drops back in grade to the right race from the right draw. He hasn’t had any luck from awkward draws but has still closed off well. He has run the sectionals and times to say he can lead and win. The 1 dog will look for the rail early and the 3 dog is slower away, so he should get a clean go at the lead and be very hard to beat. RP $1.70, $2.00 FF ( Value Staking Plan says 3.5 units at $2 FF )

Race 5 5.37 p.m.

Confidence: 3/5

2.Crackling Gal 1st $2.40 and ran to the script. won very well here last start from box 3 leading and just kept up a strong gallop right through the line to beat home slightly quicker for her closing sectional ( 14.94) than the C5 dogs on the same day which was her second best ever closing sectional here. So she is right on top of her game 1 and 3 dogs are slower away and the 4 dog, Born Quick,  will likely contest the early lead but has much slower closing sectionals. The 8 dog, Jinja babe will look to veer down the rail sharply. Crackling Gal has shown better early speed than her when they last met, so as long as Crackling Gal begins cleanly, Jinja babe may wipe the chances of dogs inside her going into the first bend, leaving Crackling Gal in front or just behind Born Quick, who tends to run wide down the back straight, which will give her al the room she needs to lead and be too good, with just a little luck. RP $2.30, $3.50 FF ( Value Staking Plan says 3 units at $3.50 FF ) Net profit 7.5 units
