Race 2

Confidence: 2/5

2.The Precious One  rates 2 lengths clear over these and just needs a good ride from the awkward draw to win.

Race 6

6.Effervescent better run last start and 2nd best FR.

1.Aulyn Star ready for more ground now.

2.Splendior good 2nd last start and is favourite but hasn’t won for a long time.

3.Letsbringiton has the best FR on a good surface and good run before working hard last start.

12.Metasaquoia good run when well back last start.

Race 7

3.Cyclops  no favours fresh up and drawn the inside here.

1.Solomon  ran on well fresh up and has won second up.

2.He’s My Brother  no favours 3 wide fresh up. Rates well with 3kgs off.

4.Milano  no favours last start- good run before that. Drawn well.

10.Running Man  recent import from North and stiff fresh up -gets 3kgs off.

Race 8 can go narrow with the two below

7.Outram looked really good winning fresh up. 1400m suits even better. Best ridden cold and with his powerful late strides can go back to back.

4.Summer Monsoon back in form now and drawn well.

Race 9

1.Abrahams  drops in class and with a good run is right in this.

4.Rainman  is going to win more races and will go well fresh.

6.Perfidia  two good runs and gets 4kgs off.

7.Highly Unlikely  stiff last start and fitter third up.

16.Viva La Blues  did well of a tough run last start.
