Last 600m in order here

Track Dead 5 Windy and fine Rail out

Race 1

Horlistic  bounced well, got into the 1×1, got going at the right time to lead turning in, and held on well. Nice galloper who can go on with it.

The Grinder was 3 back inner and had to push out 300m out but the winner had the winning break. only got balanced up 200m out and found the line well. Nice galloper and 1400m will suit next up.

Outa Cash  just missed the jump slightly and trailed, but got out in plenty of time and just battled for fourth.

Abe Lincoln led into the wind and battled ok for third.

Polizzi has a wet track action and with any rain, its chances will increase.

Race 2

Sola Power  came home strongly late for second after getting out wider and balanced up. Gear changes helped and nice looking galloper and 1400m will suit third up.

Tavattack won well from last with a strong finish.

Martina Rose was fractious before the start and reluctant to go into the gates. Had to work to lead into the wind and was gone 200m out. better with a sit and could improve sharply with that kind of run.

Flickering Shadow  ran better than expected for second after working early.

Sanibel  had every chance and battled over the last 150 metres for fourth.

Race 3

These 2yos were held in the gates for about 5 minutes which was ridiculous.

Alice Tinker led all the way and won easily- better left handed.

Gurtlyn  trailed all the way and battled on ok.

Kentucky May  caught 3 wide in the open and tired.

Wicket Maiden  very reluctant to load- late scratched for refusing to load. Nice looking filly though.

Vespa Diva  was held up but just battled on once out.

Race 4

Awesome Al  big run 3 wide in the open into the wind and stuck well for second – very good last 600m considering the run he got- it was the best run all day – fitter for that too.

Aridity  snagged back out of the wind and came with the last run at them.

Just Fabulous good run into the wind 2nd outer and battled well for third. Is better with a sit.

Chickaberinda  every chance in the trail and didn’t finish off

Race 5

Springsteen well ridden to get out to the better p[art of the track and win strongly.

Smart Remark was taken on and was stuck in the slower part of the track- good run for third. Definite improver.

Sovereign Express got a nice run 6th outer and closed off nicely. Improver.

Race 6

Chartwell won well and appreciated the better surface.

Race 7

Rukita looked ready to win before the race and got the right run to get over them late. Although she wanted to lay in and had to be straightened up and get going again. needs a left hand whip rider next up in harder class.

Benny Lincoln  got a better run this time and fought hard for second in what was slightly slower ground.

Ha’penny Bridge was checked late by the winner and was about to drive home- forgive- nice run before that.

Race 8

Not Santa ridden off the pace relaxed well and drove through strongly to win well.

Outthegate  ran home well for second.

Almo Street lost 10L at the start, caught them up, and still beat a few home.
