R4   2, 4, 6, 7, 8
R5    1, 4, 5
R6    9
R7     2, 4, 9

Race 1

Confidence: 1/5 in a race with a few chances

7.Altar Boy  sat 2nd and fought hard for second last start. Drawn to lead this time and is at peak fitness. RP $5

8.Dalmatia  will relish jumping up to a middle distance but strikes some fit horses here. May just need this.

1.Ammons  fought back well after leading last start. Needs a good ride from the wide draw.

Race 2

Confidence: 2/5

6.Showbourne  looked good unwinding hard late for 2nd on debut. 1200m will suit and Lisa Allpress looks ideal for her racing style. RP $3.00

5.Shanghai Express  has run two strong placings and looks the main danger. Tends to get back a but which doesn’t help.

Race 3

7.Vroom  improved nicely to just go down last start second up. Drawn to get all favours. RP $3.00, $3.50 FF

5.Sola Power  ran home nicely last start with some gear changes. 1400m suits now.

1.Lincoln Town  nice horse but may need a wetter track.

Race 4

6.Fiano  has looked good in his short career and with the freshen up, she can get a good run this time and be the hardest to beat. RP $4

4.Streak Of Power looked good leading all the way to win last start in a good speed rating. If left alone, which could happen, could steal this.

8.Spirit Of Galway  will likely be ridden cold again and unleash, but needs decent tempo which is unlikely.

7.My Father’s Gun  good 4th last start charging home. Caught wide last start. Blinkers go on now.

Race 5

4.Cannoli  found the line strongly second up at Wanganui last start. 1600m will suit and she looks the one to beat. RP $3.50

5.Sovereign Express  ran an improver’s second last start here second up. Drawn to get a better run and fitter now.

1.Benny Lincoln  got all favours here last start ran a solid second. Drawn wide and will need to do more work.

Race 6

The speed map shows good early speed from three runners out wide and an even tempo from there suiting all runners.

Confidence: 3/5

9.Enchanting Pearl on debut drew wide, snagged back and was caught 3 wuide in the open, but she still found the line nicely for seventh in a strong maiden field.  Last start drew wide and began well but snagged to 8th outer. They slowed up in front so she did very well to get out widest on the turn and took a while to wind up but when she did she really put in, with a slightly faster last 600m than the impressive winner, Den Bosch. This time she has drawn to land about 5th or 6th behind an even tempo and third up with Lisa Allpress jumping on at the right time ( got off Sorry I’m Late who ran a game second last start) she does look very hard to beat. RP $2.40, $3.00 FF

10.Sorry I’m Late set an even pace and fought well last start. Likely to get company up front this time and Lisa Allpress has jumped off onto Enchanting Lady.

8.Ball Gown  two nice thirds and fitter now but needs a good ride from the wide draw.

Race 7

2.Posh Porotene looked good bolting in two starts back leading all the way. Then next start over 2000m led, kicked well and just didn’t see out the 2000m. Back to 1600m looks ideal so long as the inside is playing fairly.  RP 3.00

4.Springsteen  won well here and this is not a strong R65 field so can step up from a good draw.

9.Rukita  has looked good in her last two starts, winning well here last start. She tends to lay in and do things wrong though and with a moderate tempo likely, will find this harder. If the inside is off, that will help her chances.
