2.Wild West  looks well placed here to lead all the way. He rated strongly in better fields last campaign and should go forward and either lead or sit 2nd outer and be the one to beat. RP $2.40, $2.20 FF  1st $1.70 after being 3 wide.

Dangers:

3.Sola Power  has run two nice thirds and looks the best quinella chance.

Race 2

Confidence: 2/5

7.Flickering Shadow 2nd $2 did well last start from the widest draw and sat 3w with cover. She was still able to find the line well for a close fourth in a handy form race. Drawn better and 1400m suits now. RP $2.70, $3.00

Dangers:

8.Silent Approach  better third last time and with improvement likely, looks the main danger.

Race 3

Confidence: 2/5

7.Happy Tav  1st $6 will find this much easier than what she has been facing recently. Drawn to get a good run and with the light weight can do it. RP $6.00, $9 FF

Dangers:

1.Semper Magico  looks the obvious danger. 2nd qu $5

Race 4

Confidence:2/5

1.Westfield 1st $2.60    has run two solid seconds which should be good enough to beat these. RP $3.00

Dangers:

5.Jane O’  drawn to get all favours and gets 2kgs off.

Race 5

Confidence: 2/5

1.Take A Gamble found 2000m too far last start. Raced very well before that so the drop back to 1600m against a weak field suits. RP $$3.80, $5 FF

Dangers;

3.Jessie’s Rock 1st $3.60   good effort last start 3 wide and stuck on well. Fitter now and right in this.

7.Sorry I’m late battled on ok last start. She needs to be ridden more aggressively and if she is, can win.

Race 6

Confidence; 2/5

4.Lady Rudolph dead heated last start off a slow tempo. Looks to be a better tempo here and she rates on top after weight adjustments and looks well placed to beat these.

Dangers:

3.That’s Incranibull  two strong wins and gets 2kgs off.

Race 7

1.Fantasy Flight 1st $11 won very well two back over ground and got home well last start over 1600m. Back to a middle distance with 2kgs off looks ideal.

13.Hypatia   ran home well last start and drawn to cover no extra ground.

1.Overthetop  was held up last start and once out ran on well in a harder field. This is easier.

5.Pondering gets 2kgs off and with a good ride can be in it.
