1.Pebble Beach 1st $1.50 led all the way debuted here last start and ran a very good race for second. Tghe main danger is 4 Opawa Nemo and when comparing last week’s splits, PB ran a 3L faster mid section and a 1L faster closing sectionals and 2.5 L overall better time. PB drew box 7 then and draws perfectly here in box 1. 2 and 3 are slower away and he should either lead or trail Opawa Nemo and/or Portland Wonder and with natural improvement after seeing the track for the first time last start, be too strong over the closing half of the race for these. RP$1.40, $2.20 Ff ( 4.7 units at $2.20 FF )

3.Ringside 5th looks well placed from box 3 to win this. he has won twice here and ran 2nd in this race last year from his 3 starts on the track. he qualified in the best time and maps to get a good run into the first bend with the 2 dog looking to cut down to the rail and 4 dog will likely lead out and he can get a nice drag into it from there. He has very good race sense and is in the best form of his life. RP $2.40, $3.80 Ff  ( 3.2 units at $3.80 FF )
