We certainly have some challenging times ahead don’t we. Only allowing trainers, riders and other essential people on course now seems like the obvious thing to. The galloping industry hinges around keeping our riders healthy, so temperature checks before going on course, having many more areas rather than one changing room for either sex of rider, and riders taking responsibility for their health very seriously, will be crucial for the keeping the Thoroughbred industry going.
The greyhounds, with no rider or driver required, could be the last of the three codes to be left standing, but who knows!
The first race has five runners and Elate does look the one to beat.
Race 1
The speed map shows Locally Sauced likely to lead out from the inside with Shezathinka trailing. A moderate tempo likely but is open to something moving midrace to take advantage of a slow pace.

2.Elate has been rating well in harder fields and steps to a distance she will relish. Drawn 5 but maps to land in the 1×1 and she has the tuirn of foot to challenge these on the turn and get a break on them and be too good. RP $2.30, $2.60 FF
Dangers:
1.Shezathinka didn’t do a lot in a strong R72 field last start. That was her first go over ground so should be improved, but Elate does look to have a definite edge.
