Sectionals off the front showing tempo, Speed ratings etc here

Last 600m in order here

Individual last 600m here

Race 1

Slowly run race home in 34.58 and suited leaders.

Shezathinka L200 11.74 and strong on the line. Looked very well before the start, got a soft lead, and was a class above them. She has won on a slow track and has a good wet track action so can go on with it now. Trainer Jamie Richards said, “She got rolling from the 1000m as she is  not a real sit sprint type, more of a genuine stayer so it was a nice ride.”
Elate had every chance 2nd outer.

The rest were well beaten in a sprint home.

Race 2

Moderate tempo ( 12.28 200s to the 600m ) suited first half of the field.

Can I Get An Amen Lisa Allpress said before the race she is better ridden quietly. She sat 3rd outer and once let go soon led and held on strongly L200 11.92 . Would definitely improve with that as well. Guy Lowry said, ” She will be better with a bit of cut in the ground. We have the Cambridge Breeders in mind for her.” Her action says a Slow track at worst though.

She Speeds fought well for second with a gap to third. Nice looker.

Race 3

Slow tempo ( Home in 34.02 ) suited on pace runners.

Claiborne  won strongly L200 = 11.63 . Danielle Johnson said, “After his trial he was spot on. It wasn’t the strongest field out there but at least he won by a bit. ” Stable rep said, ” He came off an injury last prep and just needed a little bit of time. He’ll be a nice horse.” Action says a wet track ok.
Swagger ran home well for second.
Americo  worked a bit early but had his chance after backing off midrace- action says a Dead to Slow track will suit better though.

Manhattan Girl ran on well for fourth in 33.71 ( L200 11.23)  and fastest last 600m of the day. She was held up 600m out until going for an inside run.

Race 4

Even tempo averaging 12.15 200m to the 600m- suited all runners

Aromatic  won easily and looked very fit and well L600 33.88, 600m to the 200m = 22.44  L200 11.44 . She ran her 400m sectional from the 600 to the 200m in fast time and was strong to the line- can win more based on that. Rated the best speed rating all day of 112 and a very strong Formpro Rating of 99.4 because of the speed rating and the margin she won by. Jamie Richards said, “She’s always been a bit immature and always thought she would develop into a nice staying sort of filly. I think she has got it all in front of her. She’ll work her way through the grades nicely.” Action says a Dead to Slow track is ok.
Starring Role  held up before the turn and ran on ok again!

Race 5

Moderate tempo- eased off midrace and suited on pace runners.

Parisian  got the best run and held on strongly when he was able to lead after turning in and held on well in a bit of a sprint home. L200m 11.52
Koolascuz  was held up and battled on well for 4th after. Needs more ground and a wet track.
Baby Face  ran on well and over more ground should be harder to beat.

Race 6

Moderate tempo suited runners in the first four in running.

Candid Camera 34.99 and L200 11.71 got a perfect run and was too big and too strong. Trainer Glenn Old said, ” Worked out well in the trail. he relaxed well with those ear covers on and was genuine- he deserved that. he’s got a bit of upside this horse so onwards and upwards.” A Dead to Slow track should be ok.

Dawned On Me got his way in front and fought well for second. From the strong Ross McCarroll stable and is a nice looking mare who shouldn’t be too long in winning a race.

Hey Soul Sister  did well from 8th outer and improving 4 and 5 w from the 600m to the 400m and stuck well for third. More ground suits.
