Race 1

Confidence: 2/5

4.Armatri looked good running home for third in his recent trial and the winner won on debut. And if they go hard, which is likely, could swamp these.

2.Fastconi ran a game second on debut and looked like the experience would really bring him along. Drawn to get a good run.

1.Tommy Gold will likely snag back and looks to have the ability to get over these if they go too hard.

Race 2

Confidence: 2/5

6.Hulk from the Waller stable looked ready to win fresh up after winning his trial under a hold. Drawn to get every chance with Hugh Bowman up. RP $3.60, $4.20 Ff

3.Frosty Rocks  pinged and led all the way fresh up in the best SR all day and wasn’t asked for 100% effort. If he can puing like that again and lead, he will take somne running down by the Hulk.

4.Frozen In Time has won her last two very well and gets 3kgs off and drawn the inside. Getting stronger all the time too.

1.Not Feint Hearted  looked a definite improver from his 4th fresh up and can run time.

Race 3

Confidence: 2/5

3.Up Trumpz ran home very strongly behind Dirty Work last start in the fastest ASR of the day. Nice galloper suited to the likely fast pace ehre. Will get back and with a good track into it, can beat these. RP $3.00, $3.60 FF

9.Spaceboy beat a weaker field fresh up and has quirky habits, so is beatable up in class.

Race 4

3.Flinders racing well in good fields and drawn to get every chance this time.

4.Money Magic won very well last start and looks a progressive type.

6.Blueant just beaten by Money Magic last start and very fit.

1.Ulysses  won strongly fresh up and flat second up. Gets 2kgs off and just needs a decent run.

Race 5

Confidence: 3/5

7.Archanna was very impressive winning on debut on a track she didn’t really like. The SR ( Speed Rating ) was very good and she is highly thought of. Tough to beat. RP $2.00

3.Magic Miss always tries hard and the 1400m looks ideal now. If the favourite is off her game then she can win.

Race 6

6.Reformist  looked good winning fresh up and was unlucky second up. With a clear go this time can win. RP $4

8.Bombassay is better suited over 1300m and is racing well. Drawn to get every chance with James up.

7.Rhythmic Pulse  drawn to get every chance and can win if the inside is ok.

5.Tchaikovsky back to 1300m suits and if he can slide over 2nd outer, he should be a chance.

4.Orcein  is ready to fire fresh up after nice quiet trial from the Waller stable.

Race 7

12.Wild About Her made us some good coin when she won last start and and despite being up in weight this is no harder and she has drawn to get a good run. RP $5

11.Miss Redoble  had no luck fresh up and will be improved by that. She has won second up and from the good draw, should get her chance.

9.Itz Lily  is going to be a definite improver over more ground and relishes a good fight.

15.Californian Salto  needs a prefect ride from Bowman to win but he’s done those before.

5.My Swashbuckler won his trial really well and was sweating up a bit. Will be spot on for this fresh up.

Ballarat quaddie.

Race 5

6.Halcyon Dame, with good wet track form,  7.Deserved who has no wet track form but has an action that should handle it, 9.Royalty ( probably the biggest query on a heavy track ) and 10.Snittitude are all in the market and it is hard to split those four.

Race 6

An open leg- go wide. Even old BT Junior could do it up to 2000m on a heavy track with 2kgs off.

Race 7

11.Shahzade  relished the heavy going last start and has an ideal action for it. Looks an anchor.

Race 8

13.Persan won well on a Heavy track but they ran a reasonably quick 1.38 for the 1600m so closer to soft going last start but has an action that shows he would like it better so if it is a slog, so he is beatable.

7.Garimpero  looked good winning on debut really letting down late and ok action for a wet track
