For the Sale Quaddie syndicate we have Lakes Folly as the anchor as he is a very good horse, who bolted in last start here and is in the same grade. The closers have had the advantage in the last two races and he will look to get cover behind midfield and get over these late.

1 bet for the Syndicate $691.20 spend for 40% with 2.Lakes Folly with the F x F x  F Missed

The Sydney quaddie is a messy one and I have no confidence in striking it so pass on that one.

Whanganui dogs

Race 10. 2.59 p.m.

H2H Bigtime Ava $1.90 to beat Opawa Tai BA has beaten OT the last three times they have met. last start BA came from behind OT 200m out and drew away from her and she also maps to  be in front of OT into the first bend, so $1.90 is very good value.

Race 3

Confidence: 2/5

5.Jailbreak has looked good in his campaign and he just went down last start over 1400m which does look too far for him off an even tempo. So back to 1250m looks ideal. He bolted in at his recent trial on a wet track and has won on soft tracks. Ideal action to handle a heavy and looks a good chance of beating these who are suspect on a heavy track. RP $5, $8 and $2.30

7.Lillemor  3rd up and will likely lead but is beatable.

8.Vinne Rain has no form on wet tracks and a better track suits his action.

4.Papal Warrior is by Fastnet Rock who are usually suspect on wet tracks but he has a good action for a wet track and has from on asoft tracks but a slog could find him out.

Race 4

In order:

2.Maui Girl  has won her last two on a Soft track and is a strong mare with a good wet track action. Realistic chance.

7.My Demetra handles a wet track well and a wide draw could be a plus.

12.Milunmka  is ready to fire fresh up and if inside is ok, has to be a chance. Action does say she needs a better surface though so can’t back with confidence if it is a slog.

6.Mummentum  won well on a heavy track last campaign and won well last start. Breeding is ideal for a wet track.

4.Laila De Vega good draw and blinkers going on are ticks.

11.Smart Decision  won well last start with a good wet track action and nice horse.

Race 5

8.Kirwan’s Lane   was blocked at the wrong time last start and Bowman is a positive change.

1.Monsieur Sisu  will relish a heavy track and back in distance will suit.

5.Moon Panther racing very well and a heavy track will be ok.

7.Celtic Love won strongly over 1600m last start and 1900m is ideal on a wet track.

4.De Velera has a dry track action.

Race 6

Confidence: 1/5

8.Monte Ditto  good run last start and heavy track will suit.

4.Privincible  looked ready to fire after winning his trial with the blinkers on and they stay on today. Action says a better track though.

3.Epic Dan  has to a chance on his strong wet track form.

11.Vitesse  gores well fresh up and won her trial well. James a plus.

5.Quadriga  has the breeding to handle a wet track and is fitter after two runs back.

6.Sedition  gets 3kgs off and should go well on a heavy track.

Race 7

Good early tempo here.

11.Dream Circle 3 win from 5 starts on wet tracks and excellent second last start. The one to beat.

1.Bigboyroy  game second fresh up and wide draw with 3kgs off could be a plus.

6.Assault’n’bathory  has very good wet track form and gets 1.5kgs off.

7.Chocolatier   looked a definite improver from his third fresh up.

Race 2

Confidence: 3/5

9.Not For Izzy ran a top second last start when on pace in a strong run forst sectional to the 600m and was easily second in a good speed rating. Blue Ocean, the winner, ran a top 2nd in a stronger race on Saturday. So fourth up and very fit now, maps to get an ideal run with Craig Williams jumping on, and may even lead and be very hard to beat. RP $2.00, $2.30 FF

10.Paris Pike is a nice strong staying type galloper but raced too keenly last start and ran on well late. Drawn wide and likely to snag and get keeen again with not a lot of speed in the race.

Race 5

Confidence: 2/5

2.Lake’s Folly is a good horse and with a good run, looks the obvious one.

7.Write Stuff racing strongly without winning. Drawn to get a good run if inside is ok.

Race 6

4.Big Brew  is well placed back in class from a good draw.

1.Mr Monaco progressive horse and just needs a good run from the wide draw.

10.Kansino  won well alst start.Progressive filly and just needs the right run.

12.Set Us Free  bred to be a handy stayer and drawn to get a good run on the pace.

Race 7

An even field and just depends on how the track is playing

In order: 10-3-2-6-9

Race 8
