No Quality bets

No Quaddie bet for the syndicate today as it doesn’t look it will pay much at either big meeting.

Warwick Farm

Bet of the day Race 6 8.Stockman $2.00 1st $2.40

Value bet of the day Race 2 10.Segal $10 Ff

Multi of the Day Race 1 1.Deep Space $1.55Ff, Race 5 8.Stockman $2.25 FF, Race 6 10.Spaceboy $2.00 $10 returns $69.70

Race 1

The speed map shows Deep Space sharing the pace with Stormy Rock who raced too keenly in front last start and may opt to take a sit to get him to settle better.

Confidence: 4/5

1.Deep Space  looks the obvious winner now after he won his trial very strongly beating Cafe Royale ( distant 3rd) who won well on Saturday at Newcastle. He relaxed well although he did sweat up a bit and is set to lead or sit outside Stormy Rock and James should be able to takes this out even though he is very short. RP $1.40, $1.55 ff

Race 2

Confidence: 2/5

10.Segal  is bred to eat mud for breakfast and her high knee action is ideal for a heavy 8. Ran a strong second in her trial and from the Waller stable will be ready to fire. RP $6, $10.00FF

Dangers:

12.Yulong Code was unlucky last start and has a nice wet track action. Likely to get back though so $2.80 isn’t much value.

2.Edmond needs a dryer track to show his best.

Race 3

Confidence: 2/5

14.Sprout Wings  looked good coming from last in her recent trial charging home with a nice wet track action for third. With most of the favoured runners having queries over them on a true heavy 8 track, she can upset these. RP $8, $13 Ff

Dangers:

6.Merivale  is a warm favourite and looked good winning her trial recently. But her breeding and action says a dryer track is needed to show her best so $2.60 is too short.

10.Party Lady  also has an action better suited to a better surface.

Race 4

Confidence 2/5

13.Zing 1st $5.40  won her maiden very well last start coming from the back down the outside with an ideal wet track action. Out of the smart Zirna and looks a progressive type from the Waller stable with James on board again. RP $3.50, $4.50 Ff

Danger:

10.Fulmina is a tough filly and always gives her best and the 1600m will suit.

Race 5

Confidence: 3/5

8.Stockman 1st $2.40 won really well for us last start and he must have improved off that as well. The step to 2130m looks ideal on a heavy track and he looks very hard to beat again. He will get back and will get going early like he did last start and sustain that long sustained run. RP $1.90, $2.25 FF

Race 6

Confidence: 3/5

10.Spaceboy was run down late by Wandabaa last start over 1100m and she came out and won again on Saturday. So strong form and back to 1000m does look ideal. Hard to run down. RP $2.00, $2.00FF

Dangers:

1.Mansa Musa  does look the obvious danger.

Race 7

Confidence: 3/5

6.Threeood 1st $2.40  does look very well placed on a heavy track. James will give her every chance and coming out of harder races looks well placed. RP $2.30, $2.50 FF

Race 8

Confidence: 1/5

4.Boomtown Rat won his trial as though he had plenty to offer and goes well fresh. Drawn wide but as saw on Saturday, that may well be a plus by this time of day. RP $6, $9.50 FF

Dangers:

19.Lubuck ran a nice 4th in a recent trial with a good wet track action.

1.Hit The Target is a query on a chopped up heavy 8 track and is beatable at $3.20

10.Jetski  with the right run could easily win.
