Thursday preview below

Good morning,

No Quality gets today. I’ll post an update by 5 p.m. with any head to heads etc.

Gosford

Race 1

Confidence: 3/5

1.Miss Spiteful two very good runs and peaking third up in the right race. RP $1.70, $2.00Ff

Race 2

Confidence: 3/5

2.Key Largo 1st $1.50  two very good seconds and also peaking in exactly the right race. RP $1.50, $1.60 FF

Grafton

Race 1

Confidence: 4/5

2.Penhurst 1st $1.40  is a very nice staying galloper peaking third up over a middle distance which he needs. Trainer said beofre his fresh up run he will need two runs to get right. RP $1.30, $1.50 FF

Ballarat

Race 6

5.Miss Hayworth is a progressive filly who ran a top 2nd fresh up and won well last start. Drawn to get all favours and still on the up. RP $3.00., $4.40 FF

Cambridge Harness

Bet of the night Race 4 13.The Greenkeeper $3.50 FF 3rd

Value bet of the Night Race 1 4.The Batmobile $4.40 FF 2nd

Sneaky of the night Race 9 3.Fleeting Grin $19 and $4

Race 1

Confidence: 2/5

4.The Batmobile ran a good second from parked but in that sit sprint home. He will be improved from that and looks the best of these from the good draw where he could land in the 1×1 this time and what could prove to be a sit spring again, can beat the hotty home. RP $3.50, $4.40 FF

Dangers:

7.Mister Slick  is a $2.20 favourite and if it were over 2200m with a decent pace up front, you could justify that. But he is a strong pacer who is a bit one paced and likely to snag here. So in what looks a bit of a sit sprint again, Sheryl Wigg will have to move midrace to get close enough to out-gind them.

1.Mr Incredible  last start here ran 4th from 3 back inner running the fastest last 400m 27.90 all night, but he was probably entitled to do that in a sit sprint home. Has enough early speed to hold the trail and over 1700m again probably from 3 back inner again, he has to be a place chance from there.

2.Rainbow Wiri has the speed to lead early and likely to hand up to Marianna Bromac and get every chance from there.

Race 2

Confidence: 1/5

1.Sunset Red 1st $6  broke on debut in the north from a wide draw right handed. Back left handed against a weak field from an ideal draw makes her a nice eachway chance.

Dangers:

4.Cee Whatadelight last start here hung wide on the first bend then recovered well to get into the 1×1. Fought on well as though 2700m would suit as a bit one paced. So needs a decent tempo here to win over 2200m.

Race 3

Confidence: 2/5

9.Fletch  ran on well here last start with little room. Drawn to do nothing and be closer. Good chance at big odds.

1.Russley Rush  worked a bit fresh up and was run down late. Drawn to get a winning run with Tony Herlihy a plus.

Race 4

Confidence: 3/5

13. The Greenkeeper  ran the 5th fastest L400 all day 28.02 here last start coming from last after tracking up 3w from the 400m- top run. Must be improved from that and just needs a half a decent drive from the unruly to put this lot away. RP $2.90, $3.50 FF

Race 5

Confidence: 3/5

4.Jive 3rd  last start here got back off the moderate tempo and charged home for 4th in 27.94, the fastest last 400m ( 2nd all day)  and out wide too. Just needs to a better draw to be harder to beat and gets that here. can beat Silk, the obvious danger. RP $3.00, $3.50

Race 6

Tough race -pass

Race 7

Confidence: 2/5

2.Matai Minky ran home in the second fastest last 800m of the race in an on pace race and drawn to get an ideal run and will be improved. RP $4.50

1.Bodrum Boy all favours last start here – this is harder but should get all favours again.

5.Milner  strong third last start but tricky draw from 5 for a $3.60 chance.

7.Lynton Creek could sneak into a place as he   was a complete forgive last start as he got back from the draw, was, checked 700m out and ran home in 28.2.

Race 8

Confidence: 2/5

8.Parker races like he needs 2700m. Good run last week and if he can get a nice run early, can out-stay these. RP $5, $7.50

Dangers:

6.Callie’s Delight  was just too good in the fastest 2200m time last start here and she ran the second fastest L400 off the front, so it a a top run. She is a nice compact pacer who will be the one to beat again. Sensiblr mare who is fine from a stand. RP $2.80, $2.60 FF

4.The Lone Ranger  is a realistic chance IF he doesn’t stuff his chances up early, which he can do from a stand.

7.Red Reactor  needs luck from 30m from the inside draw but with that luck, will be right in it.

Race 9

Confidence: 2/5

3. Fleeting Grin also ran home well from the back 27.96 here last start and has the draw to get out and land in the first six in running. From there is a realistic chance to upset these. RP $10, $19 and $4 place

Dangers:

6.JetsonHunter  looked a definite improver out of his nice fresh up run.

10.Ideal Agent  is a bit short at $2.50 where he will need luck from the second row.

4.Prime Silver ran home in 28.02, 6th fastest L400m all day here last start. Drawn to get a good run.

Race 10

Confidence: 1/5

6.Mackerelli  has shown enough to have him in as a good chance of upsetting a tough field.

1.Kristofferson  1st $3 needs to do things right and if he does, will win.

2.Strength Of Heart  needs all the breaks to go its way.

5.The Last Gamble  also needs to do everything right to win.
