Addington Harness

No selections for the dogs – no value and nothing I like.

Don’t forget the GOAT is running hot after the Warriors got rolled on Friday and he really does feel The Crusaders will far too good for the Hurricanes today so -6.5 at $1.80 Yes – easily covered

Race 6

Confidence: 3/5

7.Folklore 2nd after being caught out in a sprint home   ran a strong second fresh up then showed good improvement to bolt in second up here. She ran quicker time than the better class race and her Last 200m of 13.32 was excellent compared to other races on the day in the context of how the race was run. Plus she wasn’t pushed out. She strikes an average Mares race here. From the draw she will very likely snag and with a few on pace runners, the early tempo should be good and as long as they don’t walk to the 400 metres, she just has that extra acceleration that these don’t have and should get over them comfortably. RP $2.00, $2.30Ff

Race 8 5.55 p.m.

Confidence: 3/5

2.Diaquin 1st $3.20 and won well is a well bred Kiwi filly who ran a top race 2 starts back at Flemington in a stronger field. Then last start snagged to last and got held up in traffic and ran on late with a full tank. She looks ideally placed here to snag back agin with Craig Williams on, and I’m sure he will just look to tack onto the right rump from the 600m and she should bury these on a Soft track. RP $3.20, $3.80 FF
