Race 1

7.Transitory is ready to fire fresh up after good placed form and a 2nd at the jumpouts. Ran 2nd to the smart Mascapone last start. Lisa Allpress will have her in the right position. RP $2.50, $2.50 FF

4.Gentleman Jack strong second at Awapuni. Trialed well. Definite danger.

8.Spydapus was a bit green on debut but drawn to get the right run.

Race 2

2.Ottavio wasn’t happy right handed last Saturday and just blew out 150m out. Can lead these without too much trouble and with 4kgs off, could easily kick on these and be too hard to peg back. RP $3.60, $4.20 Ff

6.Beltoy does go well fresh and from a good draw should land on the pace and be in this.

7.La Landonne  can miss the jump and from the inside could be in trouble. If jumps, should be a chance.

Race 3

10.Country Bumpkin has run well in stronger fields. Should land on pace and be the one to beat. RP $5.50, $6.50 FF

13.Berry Delightful will be a chance after some good runs last campaign.

4.Speed Call trialed well and has won here.

Race 4

9.Botti ran 4th in the Whanganui Guineas and gets 2kgs off. Wet track ok and drawn well from Myers stable. RP $5

7.Lothbrook is a tough bugger and fresh up with a hurdle trial under his belt, can place.

11.Password  drawn to get every chance and fights hard.

1.Pasabahce nice recent trial and with 3kgs off, can win

Race 5

Confidence: 1/5

5.Dundee Street is a tough stayer and fresh up with Rosie Myres up can win. RP $5

6.Keep It Up looks the main danger after a good run at Riccarton.

2.Uluaki has shown enough to include despite the wide draw.

4.Kion  can upset if ready.

Race 6

7.King Oberon has won here on a heavy track. Drawn to get a quiet run back inner and can unleash a decent finish ridden like that. RP $9, $17 FF

3.Duffers Creek is nicely in at the weights and looks the main danger.

Race 7

13.Mizzena is a nice stayer and drawn well with Ryan Elliot up. RP $4, $3 FF

4.Desert Storm has the class to win and drawn to get a good run.

Race 8

10.Sassenach won his trial very impressively and relished the wet ground. L600m 37.13 L200 12.25 compared very well to the earlier Open handicaps and he did it wide all the way. He has a wide draw but Lisa Allpress will get him to the right part of the track and be very hard to keep out.   RP $3.20, $4.20 FF

2.Hooter won his trial well with a good run. Drawn out with Sassenach but don’t think he is as good as him.

Race 9

6.Chosen Peak looked good in her trial when finding the line well late. Gets 3kgs off and good tempo here will suit. RP $5, $8.00 FF

3.Mehrtens has gone well at the jumpouts and was in top form last campaign.

4.Secret Squirrel  is best over 1200m and Kozzi will give it every chance.

2.Tavis Court is a going to win more races and with the right run, this could be one of them.

1.Miss Lizzie  will lead or be on it and if fit enough could prove the one to beat.

Race 10

9.Wind Chimes looked ready to win after running a very nice trial. Will get back and and charge late. RP $4

1.Alberon looks to have the best form here and drawn well.

12.Canucia  looked good in her recent trial. Wide draw could be a plus.

7.Mauna Loa  is better than its form suggests.

10.Princess Jenni  fresh up with Lisa on could upset.

3.Castle Black  has shown glimpses of being able to win a maiden.

Race 11

7.Crowning Star did well in her first campaign and after a break has matured and won her trial really well. Lisa Allpress knows her well and will get her to the right part of the track from that draw. RP $3.00, $3.70

1.William Wallace  is the proven best horse in the race.If ready can test Crowning Star

12.Way Above won a Levin Jumpout and has shown enough to be an upset chance.
