9.Portland Ecklund  gets back into the field and drops back from harder C4 and C4/5 races. Below was his win here 4 starts back in this grade in fast time. In fact he has the fastest time of these and the best opening and closing time. The 8 dog can be slow away and the 6b dog tends to look to get nearer to the rail, so if he can begin cleanly, he can show that explosive power into the first bend again and cross these and be very hard to beat.
