Monday preview posted

Good morning,

The full preview of Tauranga is here and an update will be posted by noon with any Head to Heads or other bets.

Te Akau look to have a decent chance of winning the first race.

Race 1

4.Te Akau Ben  looked good in his last trial win when beginning well with good speed, then trailed going well on the turn. Once balanced and into the clear quickened stride nicely and eased down to win in the third fastest heat win of 12 heats. Well bred ( Cost $115k) and looks a nippy type. Drawn to land in a winning position in the first four and with Opie up, will get every chance. RP $2.60, $2.50

6.Darci Diva  finally get a good draw and from the inside should lead and with 2kgs off, oid she reeats that run three back at Te Rapa when splitting subsequent winners Tina Again and Captain Tom, she is the one Ben has to run down.

2.Hot Salsa  actually ran home strongly behind derby winner Rocket Spade in his trial last year. In his last trial drew wide, got back and ran on strongly for fifth. He won his first trial after settling last and bolted in beating Illumination( 2nd) who won on debut) Drawn to get a good run with a decent beginning and the bookies haven’t missed him.

7.Splash Of Red  has put in runs that says she can win a maiden. maybe with a freshener could get over them late if they go hard enough.
