Wednesday selections posted

Good morning.

The preview of Rotorua and a few Australian races is here

There is a nice bet in the first race.

Race 1

Confidence: 2/5 Suggested bet. 3 units a win on 2.Yulong Lanson at $3.90 and 2 units on Kimmy be Cool at $2.60 as cover.

2.Yulong Lanson  does look well placed in this. Last start at his second up run at Otaki he was midfield and with 700m to go he was in a bit of a pocket while the front bunch put a break on him. Then he had to angle out 200m down the straight and finished off hard. So with that run under his belt, plus with the 3kgs off again with Dean Parker up, as well as knowing he can sustain a long sprint, means this well bred ( out of Melbourne Cup runner up Champagne ) is well placed against a bunch of fresh up and jumping runners. RP $3.00, $3.90 FF

Dangers:

10.Kimmy Be Cool  is the obvious danger. She began better last start then was caught 3 wide but ran on strongly for 3rd peaking late. She should be spot on for this and drawn to get a good run. But Yulong Lanson does look the better value having had that run over ground already. RP $3.00, $2.60 FF

For odds: 11.Larni Mae last start led then shared a solid tempo and wilted from 3rd in the last 100 metres. She races like a stayer and is out of a Galileo mare so is bred to go over more ground. $12 and $3.20 FF
