8.Zacat ran on nicely in a stronger 3yo field last start at Riccarton and rated very strongly. Drawn out here but she does have tactical speed so can get out and if Johnson can get her into a decent position, she has to be hard to keep out against these on a better surface. RP $4, $4.50 FF

1.Rockland was confidently expected to win fresh up but had a tough run in the open and did very well to hold second. Strikes an average lot here and he is going to win more races, and this should be the first of them with a decent ride. RP $1.70, $1.70 FF

14.Moiras Town was an unlucky third fresh up at Riccarton when held up in the straight. She ran the best last 400 and 200m and looked to have a bit more to offer. She was an unlucky third second two campaigns ago and is a nice eachway chance against these.
