Update 11.40 a.m.

I feel the $1.85 favourite in the last leg at Swan Hill is beatable which could throw up a value quaddie if we can get the first three legs in.

Suggested quaddie for $40 for 10% Missed 3 out of 4

Good morning. It is raining in Tauranga so likely to get to a slow surface which I have based the selections on. I’ll post an update by noon with any Australia bets where one of the quaddies looks worth a go. Some of you have made some very good money this week. It would be nice if every week was like that so we could all retire early. But we know that is unlikely! So withdraw a portion of your winnings and keep to your regular bet size unless you gradually increase your bets according to your betting bank, which is the best thing to do. Think long term.

All first fours here are guaranteed to $10k so maybe wait till a jackpot before having a go.

The first three races look good for multis.

The late quaddie is a tricky one so fingers and legs will need to be crossed.

Bet of the Day Race 2 9.Dubai Diva $1.65 FF

Multi of the day Race 1 8.La Bella Beals $2.10 and Race 2 9.Dubai Diva $1.65 FF $10 returns $34.60

Extra multi with the two above and Race 3 8.Pepperello $3.30 $10 returns $114.30

Suggested late quaddie for $31.50 for 10%

Race 1

Confidence: 3/5

8.La Bella Beals 1st won impressively here on a slow track. Her recent trial showed she is spot on to win fresh up. Looks stronger and in for a good campaign. Should get a nice trip in behind the leaders and be too strong. RP $1.80

Race 2

Confidence: 4/5

9.Dubai Diva  rated strongly against our better 3yos earlier and the way he cruised past his trial rivals recently with an ideal action for a wet track, shows he is ready to win fresh up. Rates 7 lengths better than these in the Formpro Ratings. RP $1.30

Race 3

8.Pepperello ran a strong second last start on a track that may have been too firm for her based on her action. On a dead to slow  track she will be harder to beat in a slightly easier field. It does look like she prefers better going on paper but her action says a slow track will be ideal, so she is an intriguing runner. Plus Opie has come out of hibernation to ride her again.  RP $2.80, $3.30 FF

Race 4

Quite an open race. Go wide.

Race 5

7.Johny Johny is a speed machine with a ticker. Should lead these and get a softish time and be hard to run down again. A slow track should be fine. Query is second up after a hard win and he tends to run out! RP $2.40

5.Faithful Feat 1st $5  handles slow ground well and should get a nice suck along behind Johny and if he is off his game second up, Faithful could do it.

Race 6

Very open race. Go wide.

Race 7

7.The Real Test  Scr has rated strongly off tough runs in all four runs this campaign. Just needs a decent run to be the one to beat.

13.Only In America 1st $4 was impressive winning on debut off a tough run beating the smart Solid Impact ( third) Fresh up she worked on an even tempo, got pushed a little wider on the turn and did ok fighting on for 7th 3.7L from the winner.

10.A Little Bit Bossy  a strong win at Pukekohe and looks a progressive type with Opie up.
