1.Battle Secret  is a big striding horse who did very well last start second up at his first go over ground this campaign. He got pushed 3 wide in the open midrace, worked to get a bit closer wider on the turn and kept closing hard for second and ran the best last 200m in 11.96. So with natural improvement from a good draw, he should get a better run and be much harder to hold out. He maps to get a good run on the pace. RP $2.40, $2.20 FF

6.Vishaka 1st  racing strongly and just needs an outside bias and a good ride from the wide draw. RP $5

12.Hasstobefast 1st  ran a top second last start second up and looks the obvious one. But drawn wide and will need to do extra work. Just depends on any bias and the run she gets. RP $2.80

4.Sophisticado has been racing in harder fields and rating well. He should find this easier and be the one to beat. RP $4

2.Tenzing had to be good to win at Riccarton when got well back, used petrol to get handy wider then led. He showed a will to win when challenged as well. Fresh up he got back at Otaki but closed off very well in the best last 400m and 200m. Nice galloper and with an even tempo likely, should get enough pressure up front to get over these, especially if they are coming wider to win.

Danger:

6.La Flora Bella  won easily last start and looks a progressive type. Drawn to get a good spot near the pace and be the one Tenzing has to hunt down.
