The Bendigo quaddie looks worthwhile betting into. I’ve suggested more than normal but from what you save on not betting at Avondale, where I can’t find any value, it can go towards the Bendigo quaddie.

Good morning,

There are a lot of even races today and the bookies are very tight with their markets. I’m struggling to find a lot of value. The best bet all day to me will be the Bendigo late quaddie as it looks like it will pay very well with no standouts. I’ll post the suggested quaddie there by noon.

Early Saturday preview.

Tavattack ( Backed into $3.30)  looks very hard to beat in the last at Awapuni. Pinarello is a real chance of beating On The Bubbles. Maven Belle  has had an ideal build up for this.

2.Pinarello  was a very impressive winner two starts back over 2100m running an amazing last 200 metres with the fastest of the day easing up. Did well in the Derby and drawn to get a winning run in front of On The Bubbles and with Leith Innes well aware of On The Bubble ability, he could get a winning break on him and the rest near the turn. RP $3.50, $4.80 FF Top 2 is $2.30 but may pay more closer to start time.

Dangers:

1.On The Bubbles  is clearly top rated here but it is his first go over ground against what looks like a very good stayer in Pinarello.

An open leg to start with so go wide. In order: 5-4-2-9-1-7-1-12-11-6

7.Maven Belle  was a bit unlucky at Ellerslie when held up into the straight then took good ground off race rival Dynastic in good sectionals in a fast run race. She looks like 1400m will suit ideally now and from the inside draw, Sam should be able to give her an economical run and with a decent tempo likely, she can get over these. RP $3.00, $3.60 FF

Dangers:

1.Dynastic  is a big striding horse and 1400m will suit.

8.Wolverine  drawn to get every chance and 1400m looks ideal too.

Race 7

1.Tipronic, 2.Hypnos and 3.Vernanme  only look the realistic chances. It will come down to which one gets the best run.

2.Tavattack has always threatened to do what he did last start when bolting in at Trentham. The time and sectionals show that he will get to open company so from the good draw here, he will get every chance from Lisa Allpress and looks too good again, despite being up in grade. RP $2.20, $3.30 FF
