6.Remix 1st $3.20  did very well when second in a reasonable time when he began well but was caught 3 wide in the open. he didn’t corner that well but led 150m out and was run down late. His trial 2nd at Avondale with the blinkers on, showed that he has matured into a very nice horse now and from the draw with Wiremu Pinn up, he should get every chance to put these away. RP $1.90, $2.40 FF

1.Morus looked very good winning on debut and his last 200m of 11.86 was the 3rd fastest all day on a strong day of racing. No luck second up. The stable is firing and he can begin ok so from the inside he should get the trail and be too good for these. RP $2.00, $2.30 FF

12.Madrid  1st $6.70  ran a game second to the smart Charmander fresh up then was flat second up. Freshened a bit and the blinkers go on. Drawn out a bit so needs a good ride from Wiremu, but with Fetiche being vulnerable in the last 100m, he could do it. RP $4.50, $6.50 FF

10.Got The Call gets this race by the process of elimination! She ran a  solid 4th here behind the smart El Vencedor in a good speed rating. She ran a close second here over 1400m on a Good surface three starts back. Lisa Allpress jumps on and from a good draw, looks the one to beat. I’ve been through the others and most want it wetter or aren’t race fit or up in class. RP $4.00, $5 FF

Race 5

Confidence:2/5 in an open race.

4.Parisian Poppy won really well here three starts back in this grade on a similar surface. Battled in in stronger R74 races but drops back to R65 class again and J Riddell jumps on. best eachway chance in the field. RP $5, $7 FF

14.Sergio 1st 3.70   looms like he could get an uncontested lead here and a fit, in form front runner on a light weight is always hard to beat. He led and held on strongly last week in the fastest time over 1600m there for a long time. RP $3.70, $4.50 Ff

8.She’s So Reliable looks the obvious one but tends to get beaten for various reasons. Inside draw may be against if the inside is off and trial was just ok so beatable. In order: 1-8-10-4-2-5-4
