Some interesting races today at Whanganui ( preview here ) with a few promising runners about to fulfil or not fulfil that promise! Inside draws could become a negative earlier than expected with the jumpers churning up the track in the first two races. There is a nice looking galloper in race 3 detailed below ridden by Lisa Allpress, Darwin, who has drawn wide so it will be interesting to see where and how  Lisa Allpress rides her.

9.Darwin She looked very good at her first start at Hastings when she snagged back and powered home for second. She has drawn out wide here but with the track having been churned up by the jumpers she could get an advantage by drawing wide and coming wider with Lisa Allpress on top. RP $3, $4.50 FF

Dangers:

7.One Bold Cat  is a $3.60 favourite but based on his trial where he was just ok, that is too short.
