Race 3

Confidence: 3/5

8.Ciambella last start got out well but ended up 3 back inner going well. From the turn in she never got a clear run and finished full of running. That was her first go at a middle distance and there was plenty of money to say she would win. She has been showing plenty of speed early so should get handy and with Wiremu Pinn riding well, will get every chance. RP $2.70, $2.80 FF 1st $3.30

Race 5

1.Mohawk Brave is capable of a very fast last 600m and with 3kgs off, must be included.

9.Zeitaku just beat Fashion Shoot last start who won well next up. Drawn well.

3.Magneto has been freshened since his last win here. Drawn well.

Race 6

Confidence:3/5

3.Slipper Island is a quality horse ready to win fresh up, based on the way he won his trial at Cambridge, his third trial. He soon led and was never out out of second gear and won as he liked. His win at Trentham was very good. The map shows that he can slot into a nice spot 4th outer and from there can win. The Blinkers go on fresh up which indicates he is ready. RP $3, $3.50 FF

Race 7

3.Divine Diva battled in the heavy ground fresh up. Expect a better showing fresh up.

7.Elysian Fields  was a game second here last start. Fights hard.

2.Aqua Man  was caught wide last start. Will be improved by that and drawn better.

9.Just Dance has drawn well and has ability.

Race 8

3.Soprano Supreme ran on nicely late and bolted in, second up, last campaign.

13.Yellow Jersey has been impressive at his last two wins and 1600m should suit even better.

12.Van Diesel good run off a wide draw last start. Should get an ideal run here.

10.Double Take two nice runs and 1600m will suit with a light weight.

Awapuni

Race 1

Confidence: 3/5

7.Miss Belle raced over 1400m last start third up and it favoured on pace runners but she closed off hard in the best sectionals by far. The start before she was a close third here in a good race where the form has been good. She gets in here with a light weight and steps to 1550m which will suit ideally. RP $3.00, $3.30 FF Bonus Back race up to $50

Race 5

Confidence: 4/5

1.Butler looks a couple of classes above these. Looks well placed to add to his tally of wins. Two from two here. RP $1.60 $1.65 FF

Race 6

5.My Zoi won well beating next up winner Mandolo off a wide run. Lisa Allpress takes over.

3.Hooter was an unlucky 4th fresh up and went close second up last campaign.

4.Cherry Rose will be suited by the extra ground and the wide draw could be a plus.

Race 7

Confidence: 3/5

11.Mustang Valley bolted in at Hastings and her time was faster than the Tarzino, which rarely happens. She will be near the pace and should get a good run. She should be further improved by that run and although she is up in class, she is on 53kgs and it all adds up to winning. RP $3, $3.30 FF 1st $3.10

She is $21 for the Arrowfield next Saturday and from all reports it is going to be a¬† heavy track. She is chance of starting in that and at $21, based on that time, is worth having a bet on her especially as you get back up to $50 in Bonus Bets if it doesn’t start. $21 is looking pretty good now. Just hope she gets a start,

Race 8

7.Make Time  good second last start and a wide draw should suit. On a dangerous weight. 1st $4

2.Semper Magico is in great form and has to be in.

9.Magdala drops back in class and the wide draw will suit.

14.Zoey Satin ran a good second last start.
