R8    124589
R9    17
R10   71011

Matamata

Race 3

Confidence: 4/5

7.La Verite was impressive I her trial wins but even more impressive in her debut in a good speed rating doing it easily. She looks well placed here from gate 1 to get the perfect run 4th or fifth off a good pace, and be too good. $1.50, $1.90 FF

Race 5

Confidence: 3/5

5.Don’t Look Ethel has had two runs back and her last run was over 1400m in a very good speed rating. Back to 1200m suits and she can lead these despite two others who can lead. If she gets it, she can lead all the way. $3.50, $5.50 FF

Awapuni

Race 3

Confidence: 3/5

8.Darlington County has found the line strongly at her first two starts and steps to a middle distance for the first time. She won third up over 2100m and and after her recent trial win, where she bolted in, she looks ready to win. RP $2.50, $3.20 FF

Flemington

Race 3

Confidence:3/5 2nd

8.Triple Missile missed the start last start but was impressive late. Last campaign he was very impressive in most of his runs. He can run some strong sectionals late. He maps to get back of a wide draw but with 7 wins from 14 starts, looks good enough to get over these. RP $3.50, $5.00 FF

Race 5

Confidence:3/5

7.Turaath has won 5 times over this distance and won alright last start. But he has improved even further with that win and maps to get a good run. Well placed to go back to back. RP $3.20, 3.60 FF

Race 7

Confidence:3/5 2nd

1.Sharp ‘n Smart could not have been more impressive last start when winning at Randwick. He is a very good horse set perfectly for this race. James McDonald is riding with the Midas Touch and should be in front of Berkley Square on the turn and beat him from there. RP $2.80, $3.30 FF
