1.Platinum Attack looked very good in his trial when coming from off the pace and closing strongly for second hard held. He is a good looking gelding form the Latta stable and looks to have real ability. Drawn well and should get every chance. I saw Sindee’s jumpout win and she may lead but I give the nod t0 Platinum Attack. RP $3.00, $3.60 FF

8.Princess Elly was very impressive when finishing fast to almost beat Valley King last campaign. She beat 3 subsequent winners and Valley King went on to win 3 more. Then she trialed up and came from the back and cruised to the line wide out and could have easily have won. She travelled to Riccarton and disappointed when having every chance and finished 7th. She has shown enough to win at least a maiden. Strikes a weak field and should get a good run. RP $2.80, $3.20 FF
