7.It’s Doris set a good pace last start and fought hard when she was tackled and ran second to a good one in Overdrawn. The speed rating was excellent. She has a change of gear with the blinkers coming off and the shadow roll going on. maybe to get her down and relaxing better, so she may be ridden off the pace from the draw. If Grylls goes forward she should get an uncontested lead and if she relaxes will be very hard to run down. RP $1.90, $2.40 FF

3.Chloes Comet raced against some good horses last campaign and did very well and rated strongly. Her trial recently showed she had strengthened up when she easily led all the way and won untouched. Drawn the inside here and I feel she is ready to win and can beat Lazio and the rest. RP $1.60, $2.00 FF

4.Iroquois Falls 2nd up last campaign she led and although second, third was Lincoln Lady who went on to win them in a row. She then bolted in at Cambridge in a very fast time over 1300m. She trialed recently and was given a quiet one finishing close up for fifth in a strong field. The trainers doesn’t travel away very often but when they do are ready to win. She is ready to go and drawn to lead or get a cosy trail and looks a good chance. RP $2.80, $4.20 FF

6.Stout got back over 1100m on debut and ran on strongly in very good sectionals for third. 1400 suits this nice galloper and drawn to get a good run. Robbie Patterson said this was one to watch out for over the holiday period and I can see why. RP $2.50, $2.70 FF
