7.Benefactor is a good horse and looks well placed here. There looks to be plenty of early pace and it will set up for a closer. Benefactor looks to be that horse. She won really well at Whanganui coming from off the pace and drove hard for second while the winner had the better going out wide. Any rain will help her chances. RP $3, $4.50 FF

5.Flower Of Wanaka can lead all the way here. She gets in on a light weight with the allowance and if she begins well, she should lead. Last start she bounced well and trailed and fought on very well for fifth in a stronger field. That was at WFA and she gets in here much better off at the weights. 10.Eparaima last start was 3 back inner and was blocked for a run until too late and flashed for third. She would have won a with a clear run. She has won here over 1400m on a similar track and in the small field will get her chance to win. RP $2.40, $3.20 FF

1.Terra Marta is a very good horse who has won his last two starts since a spell. He came from an impossible spot running terrific sectionals to get up easily in the end. 1300m will suit and Nash Rawiller will give him a winning wide from the outside gate in the small field and improve her excellent win strike rate.
