Te Rapa preview

I’ll post an update by noon ( Update 11 am No Further bets )

Bet of the day Race 6 7.Legarto $1.75 1st 1.40

Value Bet of the Day Race 1 1.Butterfield $9 now $7.50 FF 3rd $2.30

Multi of the Day Butterfield Top 3 $2.30 with Legarto to win $1.75  $10 Returns $40.20 yes

Race 1

1.Butterfield goes his best races here and goes best when he can get the lead. The speed map shows that he should get it and not be taken on. His ratings say he can win and with him getting his own way in front he is a good value bet to start the day. RP (Rated Price ) $4. $9 FF

Race 2

4.Certainly should win but not a lot of value.

Race 4

1.Molly Bloom has a question mark over her with that average run last start. 2000m helps but I am impressed with 11.Inspired By Art. She hasn’t done the times but her sectionals and the way she has finished of her races suggests she will get a strong 2000m. Eachway chance.

Race 5

6.Promised Land has impressed at his last two starts and with a decent run from the draw, is an eachway chance.

Race 6

7.Legarto is looking for more ground now and is a class above these. Drawn 1 and if she begins like she did at Ellerslie, should be no worse than 3 back in the fence and they won’t beat her from there. RP $1.30, $1.75 FF

Race 7

2.Adam I Am has the best speed ratings here and was an impressive winner last start. He maps to land on the pace which should be even at best, which means something will have to do something extraordinary to come from behind him and I can’t see that. RP $1.70, $2.10 $2.40 Boosted

Race 8

A very good field. I’m picking there will be a solid pace which will suit 3.Waitak. This is Crocetti’s biggest test by far and he has to get beaten sometime- this could be it. Waitakeach way

Race 9

3.Burn To Shine is a very good galloper when he showed winning fresh up here beating Financier.

Fresh up again and should get a good run from the draw.
