Race 3
Confidence:3/5 3rd and incorrectly ridden again
8.Rum Night went a terrific race on debut leading and was run down late. Then second up, she began ok but for some strange reason, the rider did not want the lead in a race where there was no leader and got trapped on the inside in a sit and sprint home. If she is ridden more positively she can lead or sit outside the leader in a race with little pace, and be harder to beat over a middle distance which she should excel at. RP $4, $4.80 FF
Race 4
Confidence:2/5
3.Lincoln Star won very well last start. Up a grade here but strikes a weak field and gets in on a winning weight. Can sit outside the lead or even lead, and with the lack of pace, kick and hold on with the light weight. RP $3.00, $3.50 FF
Race 6
Confidence:3/5 1st $2.70
2.Ragamuffin third up last start he came home in excellent sectionals for third but if he had not looked around at a vital stage, would have gone close to winning. So the blinkers are going on and this smart galloping type should be able to deal to these being race fit and peaking at the right time. Maps to get a good run. RP $2.50, $3.80 FF
Race 7
Confidence:3/5
6.Wet ‘N’ Wild has raced in stronger fields in her last two starts and rated 102 in the Formpro Ratings which is at least two lengths better than these. She maps to get an uncontested lead and with Craig Grylls up, she should lead and win. RP $1.60, $2.00 FF
Race 8
Confidence:2/5
12.It’s Lola was impressive at the trials when she drew wide, showed good speed to get 2nd outer and had a good galloping action to the post and wasn’t ridden as hard as the winner. Drawn the inside and if Lisa Allpress can get her away evenly, she should trail and be hard to beat. RP $3.20, $3.50 FF
