She trialed up at Te Awamutu and showed good early speed and wallowed to coast to the line for third while other were ridden up. But the best thing about her is how she has strengthened up. 4.Interplanetary got well back last start but came home strongly for second sustaining a long run. The winner is a handy horse and this is a weaker field. Craig Grylls jumps on and I’d be surprised if he settles back as he has the early speed to settle in the first half and be much harder to beat after that first run over ground. Rates clearly on top. He is bred to stay and is a strong looking colt. RP $2.20, $2.30 FF

11.Skipping was second up last start and ran a good for fifth behind the smart winner Sethito. She was caught 3 wide in the open as well and should be peaking now third up. There is a lack of pace in this and she has drawn well with a light weight and should land in the first four. From there she is a good eachway chance. RP $7, $13 FF
