She was allowed to find her feet from the wide draw, but was just warming up near the finish and through the line. She ran the second fastest last 200m to run seventh and over more ground, looks harder to keep out.

When he jumped in the air at the start he got back off a moderate tempo, but he came for fifth in the best closing sectionals. He will improve with the run so watch out next up.
Bellezor Race 7 Te Rapa 24 May
After being snagged back, she got back on the inner, then got out wide and hit the line hard for a close seventh in the best last 200 metres. Doesn’t mind a wet track and looks a quick improver.
Gospodin Race 8 Te Rapa 24 May
He wasn’t rushed out of the gates and settled back off the moderate pace, but got out wide and motored home for fourth in the best last 200 metres. He looks in for a good season.
Te Atatu Dream Te Rapa 24 May
She showed good early speed to lead and kept fighting for third in good sectionals. Her action is ideal for a wetter track and should pick up a win soon.
Divine Spirit Race 9 Wingatui 23 May
After getting well back from a wide draw, she was held up till the 100 metre mark but once out and balanced, showed excellent acceleration to win easily in the best last 200m. She stays in R65 grade next start and looks a very good chance of going back to back.
Brazen Affair Race 8 Cambridge 21 May
She had no luck in this when she was hampered at the start, got back on the inner, then a riderless horse got in her way in the straight, and she got home hard for second in excellent sectionals. She looks very hard to beat next up.
Hayate Race 9 Cambridge 21 May
She was shuffled back after being handy and got home hard for second in the best closing sectionals. She is on a rating of 61 with four wins, so looks set to win next up.
Part Time Lover Ellerslie 25 May
She was having her second run back from a spell and came home strongly for third in strong sectionals for third. She looks set to win third up.
Bodacious Kate Awapuni 25 May
She drew wide and was caught three wide in the open, then led until late in the race, and was run down late for second in excellent sectionals. She looks hard to keep out, back here in a couple of weeks.
