6.Small Town Girl ran a good third on debut when 3w in the opn and was right there with 150 to go then the effort told. Next start at Matamata she led and fought back really well when headed for a game send in the best speed rating, Then left headed again at Matamata she was on the pace again early, then eased for cover, and then came home nicely for third. She had her head to the side this time on occasions which indicates she may have been feeling something. They would have sorted that out, and she goes alright right handed so in a weak field, she can be on pace all the way and win. RP $$2.50,$2.60 FF

6.Slick Chick got well back at Whanganui but improved wider around the top bend and ran on strongly for third. She has an ideal action for a bog and with that run under her belt, she is a nice eachway chance in this. RP $6, $10 FF

5.Middle Khan just went down third up last start and there was a gap to third. Gets 2kgs off and handles a heavy track well. RP $4, $7 FF

4.Deebee Bellfer went a good third behind Middle Kahn last start and right in this.

5.Heavy Is the Crown shared the pace in his trial and wasn’t let go and was nailed late by a horse being ridden out. Has a good wet track action and can upset the favourite. RP $2.50, $3.20 FF

8.Ocean Road fresh up was very stiff when he got back and was held up till too late and finished hard. Shouldn’t have taken much harm from that and is a chance. RP $5, $15 into $6.50 FF
Dangers:
4.Charmrose has run two strong second since a spell. Has to a realistic chance third up.
2.Belle Time Potae led in his recent trial and was nailed late without blinkers. They go on here and he won with them on fresh here last year. 3rd $5
1.Macallan has to be a chance after winning here on a bog and good third here second up, and gets 4kgs off. 1st $4

2.Ruach 2nd $2 been rating and racing well in tougher R65 races and drawn to get a good run if the inside is still ok.
1.Jaffira 3rd $ $1.75gets a 4kg allowance and rates well.
4.Rosetown Princess 1st $5 got back, loomed on the slower inner and battled well for third last start. Been battling around in this class and a chance.
11.Eddies Dream 4th First 4 $385 fought well last start second up for 2nd and was in front past the past. Maybe 9 but still got it.
10.Koros Princess ran on well for 3rd 2nd up and has placed here a couple of times.
