6.My Lips Ar Sealed has won second up at both her last two campaigns. She has won here on a heavy track and George Rooke will give her every chance. She ran a nice race fresh up and ran third to Legarto here last campaign. RP $4.50, $6.50 Ff, $7.50 Odds Surge

10.Pegasus won really well last start and is a real fighter. His speed rating was very good and he seems the type to to relish a bog and looks a good eachway chance. RP $6, $9.50 FF, $11 Odds Surge

2.Bundy last start settled 5th in a slowly run race and a sprint home. he got out wide and put in a dour finish to run third and ran the best last 200m. He has an ideal action for a slog in the bog and should land about 6th or 7th off a solid pace and should be right at his peak now. RP $3, $3.30 FF

2.Tobias won strongly over 2000m leading all the way. He won last campaign and won his next 3! 2100m looks ideal as he is very likely to get the lead and can set his terms and be very hard to run down. He gets 3kgs off his back and can lead all the way at good odds. RP $6, $11FF

3.Ready Response ran on strongly on debut then with natural improvement won strong here last start in a very good speed rating. He trialed at Foxton recently and led all the way, beating some good horses. He looks a very progressive horse and he looks too good for these. RP $2.20, $3.60 FF

5.Pier won well in Brisbane in excellent time when we were on big time. His run fresh up was excellent considering he needed it. The trainer said he lost 10kgs and is much fitter. This seems an ideal race for him and I don’t mind his 14 draw as there looks to be plenty of speed in the race so he should be able to slot in somewhere one off. From there, with a track into it, he looks a good eachway chance at decent odds. RP $7, $12 FF

10.Kerguelen is a get back horse and as he showed last start, has a very fast finish. In fact the sectionals were the fastest for the meeting and with a clear run, would have cleaned them up. He will get back again, but there looks to a be a genuine speed in this, which is what he needs to win and is a great eachway chance. $4, $5.50 FF
