1.Retrostar snagged and settled last at his last start. Then he improved along the fence but was checked badly and drifted back. In my opinion, he would have won comfortably with a clear run. He drops back to R60 class and strikes a weak field. Tina C is riding him and there looks to be an even pace in this which will allow him to settle back and should be able to run over the top of them with the long straight. RP $2.20, $4 FF

7.Novelette last start was back and wide without cover yet still finished off in the best sectionals for the race. She gallops with an action that says she will relish 1400m and her action says she will enjoy the synthetic track and Bruno will suit her. RP $3.00, $5.00 FF
